Although Zhao was immersed in grief, Gan Li's reaction only added fuel to the fire, making her even angrier. Just as she was about to continue her attack, she was suddenly interrupted by a sharp voice: "Shut up!"
Zhao and Ganli both looked towards the door, only to find that it was Old Man Gan. Not only him, but behind him, Old Lady Gan, the two Gan brothers, their second sister-in-law Sun, and several children had all arrived in an orderly fashion.
Old Man Gan's face was so gloomy it could drip water. He deliberately avoided Gan Li's gaze and spoke directly to Gan Mingli:

Upon hearing this, Zhao became extremely agitated: "I won't leave! I won't leave even if it means dying!"
Seeing her mother driven to this state, Zhao's daughter, Gan Qiao, could no longer control her emotions. Tears welled up in her swollen eyes again, and she rushed to Zhao's side, crying, "Mother!"

Just as he was about to be dragged away, a hand suddenly reached out from the side and stood directly between Gan Mingli and Zhao Shi.
