Ren Jin discovered that Gu Yueji was someone who couldn't stay idle; she couldn't sit still at home for more than two days after she had recovered.

She knew her parents were mainly coming to see Gu Jiahui, since they had never said they wanted to visit her in all the years she had lived in H City. However, she still didn't want them to come because they would find out that Ren Jin wasn't just a construction worker, and that she earned more than they had been told. She was afraid they would pester her and Ren Jin. So she didn't tell her parents she was pregnant, because she didn't want them to have a reason to come to H City to look for them.
Gu Jiahui saw Gu Yueji's furrowed brows and knew what she was worried about. Even though her parents wanted her to divorce her husband and marry Sun Xiaoming, she didn't tell them the truth about Ren Jin because she was afraid her parents would ask Ren Jin for money, which they actually wanted to use to help him and Sun Xiaohui get married.
After starting work, he and Sun Xiaohui were both very glad they made the decision to start a business with Gu Yueji. Although their current job is much busier than back home, and they spend all their time either sleeping or live streaming or thinking about live streaming, Gu Yueji takes good care of them. The commission from live streaming sales in the past two months is more than what they would earn in a year back home. So they are very satisfied with the status quo, do not want to change, and are even more determined to follow the path they believe is right.
