"Where should we go this afternoon?" Gu Yueji asked.
Ren Jin thought for a moment, "How about I rent an electric scooter and take you around Erhai Lake? You probably don't have the energy to climb Jade Dragon Snow Mountain."
At least he still had some humanity and knew she couldn't climb anymore. "Okay, let's wander around the neighborhood then."
So after they finished eating, they rented an electric motorcycle nearby. Gu Yueji sat on the back seat, leaning against Ren Jin's back, enjoying this rare moment of leisure.

They strolled hand in hand along the cobblestone streets of the ancient city, which was filled with a rich cultural atmosphere. The artistic shops, with their creative handicrafts and unique Naxi-style architecture, dazzled Gu Yueji.
Along the way, Ren Jin kept his promise and took her to taste flower cakes, rose-flavored roasted milk, milk fan, and shredded chicken jelly. Finally, for dinner, they ate the wild mushroom hot pot and matsutake sashimi that she had been longing for.
Gu Yueji ate to her heart's content. Looking at the brightly lit ancient city, she didn't want to go back to the hotel, so she pulled Ren Jin into a quiet bar.
The bar was located on a hillside in the ancient city. Climbing to the rooftop, one could overlook the entire city at night. Ren Jin and Gu Yueji sat on the sofa on the roof, listening to the seductive songs of the resident singer and enjoying the romance under the night sky.
"I'm going to the restroom. You stay here and behave yourself."
Ren Jin affectionately kissed her on the cheek, and Gu Yueji nodded obediently.
Before leaving, he still worriedly reminded her, "Don't drink anything anyone offers you, understand?"
Hearing his tone as if he were talking to a child, Gu Yueji chuckled, picked up his cocktail, and took a sip. "I know, go and come back quickly."
After Ren Jin went downstairs, Gu Yueji rested her chin on her hand and gazed at the twinkling lights in the ancient city. She thought to herself that tomorrow was New Year's Eve, and this was her first time traveling for the New Year. She didn't know how to make the most of it.
Suddenly someone asked, "Hi, can I add you on WeChat?"
Gu Yueji was taken aback and turned her head to see a chubby man standing in front of her.
Without thinking much, she raised her hand and shook her wedding ring, "I'm sorry, I'm married."
She thought the man would leave after hearing this, but he said with a flippant look, "I feel sorry for you getting married so early."
Gu Yueji frowned, looking at this strange man and asking curiously, "What are you feeling sorry for me about?"
The man's gaze swept over Gu Yueji from head to toe without restraint. He had noticed her as soon as she walked in. She was wearing a floral dress with a long knitted cardigan, her figure was graceful and alluring, and her face was beautiful and pretty. She was arguably the best in the room.
He said meaningfully, "With your figure and looks, you should find a man with better conditions."
The man's words and gaze made Gu Yueji's face immediately turn cold and uncomfortable.
She's mainly wearing clothes from her online store, not high-end designer brands. Thinking it's unsafe to travel, she's not wearing any jewelry except her wedding ring, so she does look quite plain. But what does it matter to him what she wears? Why is he here to criticize her?
Gu Yueji shooed the man away in an unpleasant tone, "My man is fine, it's none of your business to interfere. Please leave immediately." She didn't want Ren Jin to be affected by seeing this man.
However, the man simply sat down, rolled up his sleeve to reveal his wristwatch, and deliberately placed his car keys on the table. "I'm giving you another chance to choose. Aren't you tempted?"
