Chapter 10 High-quality replicas aren't expensive.

She recognized the grey and orange mesh sneakers; they were very popular for a while, and many streamers on live streaming platforms were selling them. The cheaper ones cost only a hundred or so yuan, but the authentic ones cost over 2,000 yuan.

She hadn't noticed before, but his shoes were already cracked; there were several obvious cracks in the rubber soles, and judging by the extent of the cracking, they probably wouldn't last much longer.

Ren Jin usually delivers food in the sun and rain on a slightly worn electric scooter. In addition to his delivery uniform, he occasionally wears his own T-shirts, but several of them are faded and deformed from washing. He doesn't care, though; he just washes them and puts them on before heading out.

She didn't know Ren Jin's financial situation, hadn't asked, and didn't intend to.

"What are you doing?" Ren Jin came out after taking a quick shower.

Gu Yueji was stunned for a moment, then turned around and pointed at his sneakers, "You don't put your shoes away properly again. If you don't put them away properly next time, I'll just throw them out."

He didn't care, "Just throw it away, the soles are cracked anyway."

He knew the shoes were broken. "These high-quality replicas of yours aren't expensive, are they? I've seen them in live streams; some only cost a few dozen yuan."

Ren Jin paused in wiping his head with a towel, raised his thick eyebrows and smiled, nodding in agreement, "Yes, high-quality replicas aren't expensive."

Gu Yueji walked over and placed the beer on the table. "Why don't you buy a new pair?"

Ren Jin picked up a bottle of beer, opened it, and drank. "I can still wear them, so I'll wear them a little longer."

He couldn't bear to throw away a pair that cost over 2000 yuan.

After taking a couple of sips of beer, he opened the bag and took out the takeout boxes one by one, placing them on the table. "Didn't you say you wanted to eat? It'll get cold if you don't eat it soon."

Gu Yueji looked at the table full of disposable boxes of all sizes. Although he complained that they were expensive, he bought all the crayfish, raw marinated crabs and shrimp that she wanted to eat.

We sat down at the table and started peeling and eating crayfish.

This dining table was recently bought and assembled by Ren Jin. It's small, just enough for the two of them to sit in. She finds it more comfortable to eat and work here than before.

Gu Yueji thought for a moment, "How much is the late-night snack tonight? I'll transfer it to you."

Ren Jin glanced at her, a teasing smile on his face, "You're not going to cooperate with me tonight?"

Gu Yueji was speechless. She stuffed a piece of shrimp into his mouth, silencing him.

Ren Jin licked his lips and laughed heartily.
