As soon as the waiter left, Gu Yueji asked Gu Jiahui the question she had always wanted to ask, "Why are you delivering food? Do your parents know?"
Gu Jiahui studied advertising design. After returning to his hometown, he found a job at a small advertising company in the town. He rented a house in the town during the week and only went back to his parents' house on holidays.
"My parents don't know, so please don't tell them. I'm thinking of earning more money so that they won't feel so much pressure about my marriage to Xiaohui."
"Is Xiaohui in the village now?"
"Well, didn't she just quit her job? Her marriage isn't settled yet, so it's not appropriate for her to live with me."

Gu Yueji looked at Gu Jiahui's delivery uniform. He worked so hard to save money for his wedding. If he and Sun Xiaohui continued to be hindered by their parents, they might really have to break up.
She thought for a moment and then asked, "How much money are we still short for the wedding?"
"200,000."
200,000 is not a small amount, but Gu Yueji thought about the money in her and Ren Jin's cards, and realized that this amount was more than enough for them.
Perhaps they could lend Gu Jiahui the money first, and then pay it back slowly after he and Sun Xiaohui have their wedding. That way, her brother could marry the person he loves, and her parents wouldn't keep thinking about making her divorce and marry Sun Xiaoming. Maybe she could even take this opportunity to take Gu Jiahui out.
Gu Yueji thought this was a win-win-win situation and it seemed more and more feasible. Just as she was about to suggest it to Gu Jiahui, she suddenly remembered the person next to her.
Although she had enough money in her own account to lend to Gu Jiahui, it was, after all, their joint property, and she felt she still needed to discuss it with Ren Jin.
Ren Jin was quietly sipping his tea when he met Gu Yueji's gaze. He paused for two seconds, as if he already knew what she was thinking, and asked in confusion, "Why are you looking at me? Isn't our family's money in your hands?"
