Chapter 82 Wrong and Reckless Choices

A moment later, Madam Chu gently tickled the back of Gantang's ear.

"What's wrong?" Gan Tang asked.

Madam Chu's face flushed red, and she whimpered softly, "Xintang, I need to use the restroom."

At the same time, a woman walking in front also spoke up, "I need to use the restroom."

The other women nodded in agreement. They hadn't gone to the toilet for almost a day.

The disheveled woman said impatiently, "Why go to the toilet? Just pee here, and leave now."

The mountain road was bare and exposed. A man was following behind on a motorcycle; how embarrassing! Torn between physical and psychological struggle, one of them couldn't hold it in any longer, took two steps to the side, squatted down, and urinated.

Once one person sets the precedent, others will follow suit. But Madam Chu, respected for many years, and the education and etiquette she received from birth made it impossible for her to do such a thing.

Madam Chu got off Gantang's back, pitifully tugging at her sleeve, her face full of grievance.

Now, Gan Tang began to suspect these two ruthless individuals. If they were really human traffickers, it would be best not to provoke them. But if they were fake, it would be a great opportunity to show off.

Gan Tang mustered his courage and said to the disheveled woman, "Sister, please have mercy and let my aunt walk away by herself."

"Stop talking nonsense!" the slovenly woman said mercilessly.

Gan Tang turned to look at Madam Chu, then knelt down, pleading, "Elder sister, please."

The slovenly woman lashed out with her whip at Gan Tang impatiently, yelling, "If you're not going to pee, then get out of here right now!"

Whip after whip, but Gan Tang remained kneeling, unmoved.

Madam Chu was both touched and heartbroken. "Xintang, get up. I won't go."

Even though it was just acting, Gan Tang felt a humiliation she had never experienced before. She grabbed the whip, stood up, and said coldly, "Big sister, you've been with that big brother for quite a few years, haven't you? If you don't agree, I'll go ask him."

As she spoke, Gan Tang tossed her hair to one side and smiled as she unbuttoned her shirt. "I think I'm still a little prettier than you, big sister."

How much can a man who wouldn't let his limping wife ride on a motorcycle the whole way care about her? Sure enough, the disheveled woman's face changed, and she angrily lashed Gan Tang with her whip.

"Go quickly and come back quickly!"

Thank you!

There was a slightly higher mound in the distance, just high enough for a person to crouch down and block the view. Gan Tang wanted to help Madam Chu over, but the disheveled woman stopped her, telling Madam Chu to go alone.

It's getting dark, what if the two of them run away?

"Why are you taking so long?" The middle-aged fat man asked the disheveled woman as he rode over on his motorcycle after finishing his cigarette.

The disheveled woman carefully explained, "Someone went over there to relieve himself."

The middle-aged fat man wasn't listening attentively; his lecherous gaze was fixed on Gan Tang.

Gan Tang had seen that same look in Lu Pang's eyes before. To gain the upper hand, Gan Tang tugged at her collar and said sweetly, "Big brother, why don't you let big sister take them away first, and you stay here with me to wait for them?"

"Alright!" The middle-aged fat man immediately shooed away his wife and leered at Gan Tang.

Gan Tang kicked the middle-aged fat man in the bloated belly and leaped onto the motorcycle. After disembarking from the cruise ship, she specially learned Taekwondo.

When Madam Chu returned halfway there, she was shocked to see that dashing kick.

"Auntie, come upstairs!"

Gantang carried Lady Chu on his lap and rode away. They entered the mountain village and traveled only a few miles. Once they escaped the village, they would reach the highway.

It'll be here soon!

The road is becoming clearer.

Suddenly, a row of seven shirtless men appeared at the entrance to the once quiet mountain village, two of them carrying shovels. Huge boulders blocked the exit, making it impossible to get through.

This level of acting is already enough, unless it's real!

Could it be that the human traffickers had been colluding with the villagers all along?

I acted impulsively!

Time seemed to stand still. Gan Tang stopped his motorcycle and stared intently at the mountain road ahead and behind him. Seeing that the motorcycle wasn't coming, the men at the village entrance all walked over. Behind him, the middle-aged fat man also came running, panting heavily.

Gradually approaching.

Gan Tang quickly untied the ropes binding Madam Chu's hands and whispered, "Auntie, I'm going to run them over with my bike in a bit. You need to find the right moment to run away."

"I...I can't."

If they are truly human traffickers, they have no choice but to comply at this level.

Gan Tang ignored her words and saw the seven people walking towards her. She rode her motorcycle and crashed into them. The motorcycle was going very fast, and everyone was so frightened that they all dodged out of the way.

The man with the shovel angrily threw it at the motorcycle. The motorcycle narrowly avoided it and crashed into a rock with a thud.

"Run!"

Gan Tang got out of the carriage to block the pursuers, giving Madam Chu enough time to escape. Even though she had learned some martial arts, how could she possibly defeat seven or eight strong young men wielding weapons?

Before long, she was pinned to a rock by two men. Gan Tang looked into the distance and saw the two men chasing after her getting closer and closer to Madam Chu. In despair, she turned her head away.

"Damn it, how dare you hit me!" A hot-tempered man kicked Gan Tang, but he didn't dare to kill her, after all, she wasn't his wife.

A moment later, the middle-aged fat man came running up, panting. He picked up the shovel from the ground and walked menacingly toward Gantang.

"Damn it, how dare you lie to me!" The middle-aged fat man picked up a shovel and slapped it against Gan Tang's leg.

A gunshot rang out, piercing the sky.

A line of police cars turned off the highway and sped towards us, with Chu Jiahe and Mo Huaixing's car mixed in among them.

Upon seeing the police car approaching, the villagers scattered like birds. Gan Tang lay on the ground, writhing in pain. Although the force of the shovel blow had been affected by the gunshot, it had still landed on Gan Tang's leg.

"Young Miss!"

Gan Tang vaguely saw a familiar face, then fainted from the pain.

Mo Huaixing bent down, picked up Gan Tang, and ran towards the car.

Chu Jiahe wanted to see Gantang, but her mother held her tightly, and she could only watch helplessly as Mo Huaixing's car sped away.

Madam Chu, feeling wronged, threw herself into her son's arms and sobbed, "My son, they beat me and made me crawl into the chicken coop..."

"Mom, it's alright, it's alright!" Chu Jiahe gently patted her mother's back to comfort her.

Madam Chu gradually stopped crying and asked, "Where is Xintang?"

"She seems to be injured. Mo Huaixing took her away in his car."

As the two were talking, the police had already brought back the escapee, along with the disheveled woman and four other trafficked women.

The disheveled woman watched as the women she had trafficked were rescued one by one, and she knelt on the ground, wailing loudly.

"God, why are you so unfair? Why was no one there to save me when I was abducted? Why was my leg broken when I tried to escape? Why did I have to give birth to his son? Why did I have to drown my own daughter?"

The world was filled with the heart-wrenching cries of disheveled women, which gradually turned into laughter, eerily unsettling.

Madam Chu looked at the person who had called out to stop her from taking off her clothes, and said, "Give her those clothes!"
