Postwar

Postwar

"I'm doing this to prevent you from making a big mistake!" Indra defended himself. Faced with his beloved's accusations, he felt a pang of grief. "Ashura, don't be so stubborn."

"It's you who is stubborn, Indra. You left me for the Celestial Clan before, and now you want to stand against me for the Celestial Clan. Could it be that all your tenderness and flirting with me before were fake?" Ashura said, staring at Indra with his piercing red eyes.

As soon as he said this, the expressions of the celestial beings changed unpredictably. Shanfatian's face looked extremely ugly, but he was seriously injured and had no say.

"Hurry, hurry up..." Shanfatian passed down the order.

Asura stood up and prepared to chase, but Indra's lotus tentacles wrapped around him tightly, and Asura really couldn't move away.

"Were you deliberately making an enemy of me in front of everyone just now?" Asura grabbed the lotus root with his backhand and walked step by step to Indra.

He was already much taller than Indra, and now he looked even more oppressive.

Asura was about to grab Indra's face without mercy, but after thinking for a moment, he let go for fear of hurting him and pinched his shoulder blades instead.

"Why don't you speak?"

"What do you want me to say?" Emperor Shitian said sullenly. "Even if I told you, you wouldn't listen, and even if I did, you wouldn't believe it."

"I listen to you, and I believe everything you say." Ashura frowned, unconsciously slowing down his tone. "So, don't be so angry, okay?"

"If I've angered you in any way, you can tell me, but don't deliberately ignore me or go against me. Even though I have a devilish heart, I'll be broken by it."

Indra suddenly burst out laughing.

Asura was delighted and looked at Indra with anticipation, then breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing that he was silent again, Ashura became anxious, "Just now in front of so many people, you were willing to talk to me for a few more words, why are you unwilling to speak now?"

For the first time, Asura felt that the thoughts of the Celestials were truly difficult to guess. In the past, when he encountered a Celestial who refused to speak, he would simply torture them to extract a confession. But now, he could not beat or scold this one, and could only worship him like an ancestor. Asura felt that his heart was in turmoil, but he was still happy to accept it.

"I hate myself. I am clearly a fool by nature, but I pretend to be a noble sage. Such despicable behavior. Asura, you are right, I am a selfish villain." Indra said softly.

"I was scolding that domineering man just now, not you. Please don't misunderstand me." Ashura panicked and defended himself.

"No need to say more. I already understand that everything that's happening now is my fault. I'm the one who should die to atone for it."

Looking at the devastated scene around him, Indra was heartbroken and drew his sword, wanting to end his life.

He said to himself, "What's the point of doing it again? It's just repeating the same mistakes."

"Is this my original sin to once again witness the devastation of countless lives?"

"What are you talking about?" Ashura snatched his sword and carried Indra on his shoulder. "I think you're just starving. You've been fighting for so long, you haven't eaten yet? I'll take you to eat."

"Put me down! Why are you so annoying?" Indra was a little self-destructive, glaring at the long hair on the back of Asura's head.

"Stop thinking about trivial things. What kind of cuisine do you want to eat? Do you want to drink glutinous rice wine?" Ashura said.

He quickly took Indra away from the station, and did not return to the abyss ghost realm, but took a detour to the human world.

Most parts of the world today are suffering from war and rampant demons, but there are some places where humans and demons live in harmony.
