Reiner discussed it with Nora and the others.
This set of chain mail and plate armor weighs nearly twenty kilograms.
Martina was fine, she had endless energy and could wear a heavy bucket helmet on the back.
But Nora seems not to be able to do it.
Asking her to carry 20 kilograms of things and jump up and down would tire her to death.
Moreover, her most outstanding feature is her agility, and wearing too much might be counterproductive.
After careful consideration, Reiner gave up the idea of putting chain mail on her, but kept everything else as it was.
Reiner himself removed his skirt armor and strengthened his leg guards and shin guards.
He had no fondness for the skirt armor.
After measuring and paying the deposit, Reiner took them away.
Then he went to see the tavern owner.
As an important place for information transmission in the small town, the pub owner is good at dealing with people from all walks of life and is often one of the most well-informed people in the local area.
With their help, Reiner quickly found a single-story cottage for sale in the corner of the city.
The house has wooden floors and looks clean and tidy. It has a total of four rooms, three of which can be used for living, and the other is for storing miscellaneous items. This room also has a relatively complete kitchen.
There is also a nine-square-meter vegetable garden in the backyard of the house, where you can grow some vegetables when you have nothing to do.
The only thing I am not very satisfied with is that the cubicles for washing and defecation are too small and quite rudimentary.
But even so, it is much better than the small wooden house in the village.
Reiner's heart was moved.
"How much is the rent for this house?"
The homeowner was an elderly man, leaning on a cane with gray hair on his temples. He spoke weakly and haltingly, "One year... two Diaster gold coins."
“How much does it cost to buy this house?”
The old man remained silent. He glanced around with his cloudy eyes and slowly said, "Forty gold coins. This house was given to me by the lord when I was young. The title deed is still there."
"Let me think about it."
Reiner paid the rent.
He plans to live there for a while to check it out, and if it really is good, he will consider earning some money to buy the house.
After renting a house, Reiner rented a carriage from the innkeeper and began to move things back and forth.
The villagers seemed reluctant to let Reiner move out, but they still helped move the things in the house.
After a busy night, Reiner finally finished moving the house.
Looking at the messy room, he started to tidy it up.
It was almost midnight after I finished the whole process.
After taking a shower, Reiner knocked on Nora's door. Seeing no movement from inside, he slowly pushed the door open.
Seeing that the bed was empty, she turned and went to Martina's room.
Nora is here.
They both crawled into the same bed again, their two big eyes staring at Reiner.
Nora's cheeks were a little red, and it seemed that they had done something wrong.
"What's wrong with you two? You look sneaky." Reiner asked puzzledly.
"It's okay." Martina's mouth corners slightly raised, as if she was about to hold back her laughter.
Their inner thoughts kept drilling into Reiner's ears.
Martina: (Nora) I can’t answer your question. After all, I’ve never been with a man.
But I really don't think Nora has even started to consider that kind of thing, but from the current point of view, following Reiner is indeed a good destination.
If I have nowhere to go in the future, I might as well just work for Reiner forever.
But I don't intend to do that with Reiner...)
