"Horace? He betrayed Ms. Peggy?" Dumas looked around, as if searching for something. "Where is he?"
Reiner closed his eyes and searched briefly, finally teleporting Horace out of the cell. He lay unconscious on the dirt floor. "Here, I coaxed him to sleep."
Although the storage space cannot accommodate living creatures, he paved the prison floor with magic stones. As long as the prisoners come into contact with the magic stones, he can teleport them at any time.
Dimas was amazed at Reiner's magic, but didn't say much.
He glanced down at Horace and said, "Let's not talk about this matter. This guy is also an out-and-out profiteer. Many people have complained to me about him."
Dimas put his hands on his hips and said, "I'll leave it to you. Murder is a serious crime anywhere, let alone the murder of a businessman of good reputation."
"Thank you." Reiner teleported Horace back into the prison.
Reiner felt that after not seeing Dimas for nearly two years, he seemed to have become much more talkative and it was a pleasure to get along with him.
"If there's nothing else, I'll go back first. We can talk again when there's a chance. I still have some things to do."
There is a bastard hiding in the suburbs of the city. Reiner wants to capture that guy and torture him, and finally let the more powerful Lelith read his memory.
Dimas put his hands behind his back and asked doubtfully, "Do you need help?"
Reiner waved his hand: "No, I am enough."
Dimas breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I'll go back first. There's been some minor trouble here lately, and I was planning to consult a doctor."
He must be referring to the plague that Peggy mentioned.
However, Reiner didn't find any sick patients along the way, so it shouldn't be serious and they should be able to deal with it.
"Hey, I'll leave first. Goodbye."
After saying goodbye to Dimas, Reiner hugged Nora and Paige and flew to the suburbs without stopping.
In Horace's memory, there was a camp where they hid in the wilderness west of the city.
Reiner flew about a mile or two and saw an abandoned cabin, and behind the cabin was their camp.
Several knights dressed like bandits were patrolling in the weeds.
Reiner killed them in the sky, and then slowly landed in the camp.
He pushed the wooden door open and saw a middle-aged man sitting at a wooden table. He was wearing a full set of plate armor and looked to be in his forties or fifties.
The moment he saw Reiner, he stood up suddenly: "Who are you? How did you get in?"
He narrowed his eyes only when he saw Peggy following behind him.
"How else can you get in? Fly in, but your men have suffered so much, they've all turned into fertilizer." Reiner's mouth curled up slightly, pointing at Peggy behind him, "Aren't you going to capture my woman? Can I ask why?"
The middle-aged man stared at Reiner and shook his head: "I have nothing to say to you, Reiner, you are the enemy of the Roseno Kingdom."
"How have I offended you? Did you teach Lord Freck a lesson for me, or did you save your father-in-law for me?" Reiner raised an eyebrow at him and continued, "Tell me, which nobles do you serve? Tell me, and maybe I'll spare your life."
Seeing the old nobleman open his mouth slightly, as if he wanted to say something, Reiner smiled and said, "It was just a joke. I'll kill you even if I say it."
