Chapter 394: King Zhou Can’t Be Blamed (1/2)

Reiner watched from the side while Lelith was interrogating him.

The old bastard was beaten black and blue and was unconscious.

There were several demi-humans standing around, eager to try, and they had their maces drawn.

Seeing that the interrogation was over, they swarmed over and started fighting.

"Don't beat him to death for now. He still has some breath left." Reiner advised.

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Lelith handed Reiner the list. "My Lord, it seems we've been deemed a thorn in the side of the Roseno Kingdom. This is a rough list of the nobles involved. Most of the powerful nobles are listed here. Do you intend to take revenge on them all?"

"I have this plan. I heard that a plague has broken out in the southern part of the continent, and Rossno is the hardest hit area. Although I really want to kill them, it doesn't seem like a good time to start a war. I think we can observe for a month or two. What do you think, Lalith?"

"I agree with you. I also think we should wait and see. It's not too late to declare war once we are absolutely sure." Lalith nodded.

Reiner took Lelith aside, stroked her slightly bulging belly, and said softly, "Thank you for your hard work, my dear."

"It's okay, it's nothing." Lailisi looked up at the sky and saw that it was already evening and getting late. "It's getting late, man. I plan to go home and have a good rest first."

The two left the prison and headed home.

Just as he reached the door of his house, Reiner stepped over the threshold but then stepped back when he heard a crisp jingle.

Reiner looked around and felt that there seemed to be something at the empty door. He reached out and grabbed it, but he didn't know what he grabbed.

"Wow!"

The sudden big bang startled Reiner.

Luminilla slowly emerged from the darkness, her hands tightly covering her clothes as she looked at Reiner vigilantly.

"You scared me! What were you doing standing at the door invisible? You scared me like a ghost."

"Nothing, I was just basking in the moonlight." Luminila said expressionlessly.

Reiner looked up at the sky. The sun had just set and the moon had not yet risen.

Then, a voice came from his heart.

(He can't even find me. I can't watch openly anymore...)

???

Is this guy actually using invisibility to spy on me? Interesting.

Luminilla slowly turned and walked into the living room, then stretched out her hands to Reiner.

"What?"

Luminila said expressionlessly, "Change your clothes and shoes."

Reiner was slightly stunned.

After an assessment, Reiner discovered that her favorability had increased from 80% to 85%, and the speed was getting faster and faster.

Seeing that Reiner was unmoved, Luminilla had many strange ideas in her head.

(Will I annoy him?)

Reiner quickly took off his scarf and cloak and handed them to Luminilla.

Her gray eyes lit up for a moment, and then she took the clothes and hung them on the rack.

Then she brought a cup of hot water and handed it to Reiner with both hands.

"Hey, what's wrong with you today?" Reiner looked at her and couldn't help teasing her.

Although Luminila's cheeks were red, her face remained expressionless.

Nora appeared behind Reiner at some point. She looked at Luminilla and spoke slowly, "I don't know. She seems to be like this to her children. What's going on? It's so hard to guess."

Luminila was stunned at first, then she quickly ran to the dining table and handed Nora's wooden cup to her.
