"Miss, Little Red is unhappy. Why don't you try to comfort her?"
Mo Yunhan reluctantly put his arm around Jiang Qingwan's waist.
"I won't coax you."
Little Red's bottom sticks up even higher, and her tail is still sticking up, which is really unsightly.
Song Yushu chuckled softly, covering his face with his handkerchief.
"This little thing seems to really understand human nature. If all else fails, let's make it a pair of pants."
Jiang Qingwan couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Little Red felt ashamed and curled up its tail, its head drooping pitifully.
Jiang Qingwan walked over, leaned down, and whispered a few words in its ear.
Little Red's tail perked up again, wagging back and forth, and it even proudly raised its fox head at Mo Yunhan.
Once the two were on the carriage, Mo Yunhan couldn't hold back any longer.
"What did you say to that fox?"
Jiang Qingwan glanced at him.
"Why are you being so gossipy, like a woman?"
Mo Yunhan choked.
He moved closer to her, still feeling a little annoyed.
“I am your husband, and I have the right to know about your interactions with any male.”
Jiang Qingwan looked up again, her disdain evident in her eyes.
Their eyes met, and Mo Yunhan was the first to sit up uncomfortably, pretending to straighten his clothes.
"If you don't want to talk about it, then don't. Tonight's banquet will be held, with all the officials present, and many noble ladies and their families as well. Stay close to me and don't wander off."
Jiang Qingwan hummed in agreement.
"I know, I understand if you want me to swallow my pride and be a good wife."
Mo Yunhan was so angry he laughed.
"Who told you to be a well-behaved wife? Did your aunt say that? She really doesn't know you. Every time you've been wronged, you've slapped her back on the spot. You've never even given me any face."
Jiang Qingwan glared at him with a smile, "You're feeling wronged? There's no need for that. I'll just find someone else to bully."
Mo Yunhan had absolutely no way to counter it.
He reached out and gently pinched her waist, his tone becoming serious.
"I'm serious. If you're bullied, you should fight back, but you can't do it in private."
Jiang Qingwan was taken aback.
"My trip to the Su Prince's residence wasn't entirely for you."
Mo Yun's cold, sharp lips pursed slightly, and he did not press for further questions.
