Chapter 106 Let him drop out of school

As soon as He Lingchuan finished speaking the last word, Shen Yanxi's face turned ashen.

She looked at Xiaofeng with disdain, ignoring the crowd of onlookers, and began to lecture him: "You're the kid who beat Nanchen so badly that he was covered in bruises?"

Shen Yanxi put her hands on her hips. She never got angry in public, and no matter how annoyed she was, she would always hold back. This was the first time she had been so careless about her image.

Xiaofeng raised his head, still neither humble nor arrogant: "So what if it's me? He's always been a wild child, am I wrong?"

Shen Yanxi already knew what the kindergarten was talking about, but she turned a blind eye because she didn't want to cause too much trouble with the school.

I never imagined they couldn't even control a child's mouth.

Shen Yanxi took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down.

She slowly spoke after the flush on her face gradually faded.

Considering that Xiaofeng was just a child, she lowered her voice and spoke gently: "Where are your parents? Call them over. Don't you know that what you're doing is immoral? You and Nanchen are classmates, how can you talk to him like that?"

"I didn't say anything wrong."

Xiaofeng tilted his head back and refused to admit his mistake.

He even made a face at Bei Chen, who was standing behind Shen Yanxi.

He seemed fearless, continuing to provoke Nan Chen and Bei Chen: "You two good-for-nothings who only know how to tattle, do you know why your father doesn't want you? It's because you're too stupid."

"Xiaofeng".

Shen Yanxi was so angry that her face turned pale. She thought to herself that she shouldn't argue with a child, but she couldn't help wanting to teach Xiaofeng a lesson.

She moved her lips as if to speak, but then she heard He Lingchuan's voice: "I don't think you're any smarter than me."

He Lingchuan snorted and picked Xiaofeng up by the waist: "You're so naughty, we can't control you, but that doesn't mean others can't."

As he spoke, He Lingchuan took out his phone and deliberately threatened Xiaofeng: "I'm calling the police right now and they'll come and take care of you."

Upon hearing the sound of the button being pressed, Xiaofeng's face instantly darkened.

There are only two people a child is afraid of: a policeman and a teacher.

Upon hearing the word "police," Xiaofeng immediately begged for mercy: "No, don't call the police, let me go, I want to find my mother."

He struggled with all his might, shouting and screaming in an attempt to escape.

"Help! Mommy, Mommy, save me!"

Those around He Lingchuan who were unaware of the relocation immediately gathered around upon hearing this.

They looked He Lingchuan up and down, but before they had any evidence, they only dared to point and whisper at him.

"Who is this person? Could he be a human trafficker?"

“He doesn’t look like the child’s father.”

"Where is the child's mother? She's not here."

...

The surrounding chatter grew louder and louder. Shen Yanxi frowned as she looked in He Lingchuan's direction, feeling ashamed.

Zhou Mingyan fanned the flames from the side: "What kind of lousy method is He Lingchuan coming up with? Isn't this just making everyone notice them?"

Ignoring their comments, He Lingchuan lifted Xiaofeng up and shouted at them, "Who are this child's parents? If you don't want me to send him to a juvenile detention center, come and claim your child."

With that, He Lingchuan put Xiaofeng down again.

He grabbed Xiaofeng's wrist to stop him from escaping: "You can't get away."

Xiaofeng looked at He Lingchuan nervously: "Do you know that this is illegal? I'll have my mom call the police and have you arrested."

"Great, that means I don't have to wait for the police."

After saying that, He Lingchuan felt someone pat his shoulder from behind.

She turned her head and was met with an unfamiliar face.

The next second, Xiaofeng called her "Mom" with a wronged look on his face.

"You're Xiaofeng's mother?"

Xiaofeng's mother looked very young and was very well-maintained. She was dressed in gold and silver. When she walked up to He Lingchuan, she slapped him first.

Before He Lingchuan could speak, she slapped him again.

"You are the father of this bastard?"

Her gaze fell on He Lingchuan's face, her expression full of disdain: "Like father, like son. I just left and you've already caught my son. It's disgusting."

Xiaofeng's mother raised her hand and gently fanned her nose a few times, as if He Lingchuan had a strong odor.

He Lingchuan's face was swollen, and before he could retaliate, Shen Yanxi ran over and slapped her across the face: "Do you even have any sense of reason? Your son beat my son up like this, and I haven't even settled accounts with you yet, and you turn around and hit me first. Don't you have any shame?"

Shen Yanxi spread her arms to protect He Lingchuan, her brows furrowed as she looked at Xiaofeng's mother with an impatient expression.

"And who are you? What business is it of yours how we raise our children?"

Shen Yanxi retorted, not to be outdone: "Is this the kind of child you raised? You might as well let him go out and beg for food."

"What did you say?"

Xiaofeng's mother reached out, intending to attack Shen Yanxi, but just as she swung her hand, Zhou Mingyan grabbed her wrist.

He lowered his head and spoke softly in Xiaofeng's mother's ear: "Don't be impulsive."

Xiaofeng's mother turned pale with anger. She turned around and yelled at him, "How dare you talk like that? Let me tell you, I wasn't planning to pursue this matter. It's you who have slandered me time and time again, so I've changed my mind. I'm going to call the police, and I'm going to make you pay the price."

He Lingchuan laughed dismissively: "You?"

Xiaofeng's mother raised her head, her eyes devoid of any emotion. Her gaze fell on Nan Chen, her eyes fierce: "Just because of me, I will make sure you know what happens when you mess with me."

Xiaofeng's mother looked at the child in her arms with a pained expression, and stood opposite He Lingchuan, challenging him.

He Lingchuan frowned and lifted Nan Chen's coat: "Why do you think the police should believe you?"

He pointed to the bruises on Nan Chen's body: "This was done by your good son, wasn't it? Before I get too angry, apologize to Nan Chen and promise him that you won't bother him again."

Xiaofeng's mother glanced at it and turned her head away, shrugging her shoulders indifferently: "Where's the evidence? How can you prove that my son did this?"

“My son is a witness.”

He Lingchuan pushed Beichen in front of Xiaofeng's mother, his eyes sharp: "You don't need to say anything to me anymore, I've already called the police."

Upon hearing his words, Xiaofeng's mother's face instantly darkened: "You dare?"

Her gaze fell on the teachers who had gathered together: "What are you doing standing there? This person is deliberately causing me trouble, aren't you going to do anything about it?"

Before the teacher could speak, He Lingchuan interrupted her, saying, "The Shen family has also invested a lot of money in this kindergarten. If she helps you, wouldn't she be cutting off her own escape route?"
