He Chi said, "Just watch it for now, I'll go over and take care of it."
Jiang Yining heard it all. How could those men have such bad drinking behavior? They would get drunk and start fighting in the bar. Such trouble would probably affect the bar's business.
She said, "Go quickly, I'll wait for you to come back."
He Chi didn't know when he would be back. "It will be too late when I come back. You should get some rest early. I guess I still have to go to the police station with them."
After saying that, He Chi lowered his head and kissed her twice, "Give it back to me tomorrow night."
It's such a long time and you're still thinking about this.
Jiang Yining stuffed the car keys into his hand and said, "Be careful."
A good night was ruined like this, and He Chi now wanted to hit someone.
When he rushed to the bar, he saw the broken glass on the ground. He felt a chill emanating from his body and asked Chen Ran, "What was the fight about?"
Chen Ran explained, "This girl and the guy with glasses are a couple, and the burly guy next to her is her ex-boyfriend. He insisted that the girl broke up with him because she cheated on him."
"He had a couple of drinks and saw a girl with his boyfriend. Without saying a word, the big guy started beating her. He even wanted to hit the woman."
The girl's boyfriend was suddenly punched, and he fought back when the man tried to hit his girlfriend.
He Chi probably understood.
There were quite a few guests nearby, and some girls were frightened.
He Chi said to everyone, "The bar is closing early today. All your bills tonight are free. I'll also give everyone a 50% discount coupon. It's valid for one month and can be used anytime."
He turned to look at Chen Ran and said, "Go get the coupon."
"Okay."
After Chen Ran gave coupons to the guests, they all left the bar.
Some people were originally quite dissatisfied, but He Chi was generous. Not only did he waive the bill, he also gave all the guests 50% off coupons. That dissatisfaction immediately disappeared, and besides, it was not the bar's responsibility.
The big guy wanted to sneak away with other guests, but was stopped by He Chi.
He Chi held him down with a stern expression and ordered Chen Ran, "Call the police."
Chen Ran said, "I've called the police."
The man refused to accept it and said, "Let me go, or I'll make you pay."
He Chi scoffed, "You still dare to be so arrogant and make me look bad? Before you start making trouble, don't you want to know what I used to do?"
Chen Ran told him kindly, "Our Brother Chi used to be a special police officer. How dare you, a piece of trash, say that? We live in a society ruled by law now, don't you understand?"
"Have you finished your nine years of compulsory education? If not, go back and start over."
He Chi asked Chen Ran, "Did you record him threatening me just now?"
“Yes.”
He Chi looked at the girl and her boyfriend and said to them, "There are surveillance cameras in my bar. It will be clear who made the first move. I'd like to trouble you to go to the police station with me."
"Don't worry, all the losses in my bar will be borne by whoever starts it first."
The big guy was full of muscles, but at the moment he couldn't move and was gritting his teeth in pain.
He Chi increased the strength of his hands and said to the man, "Including tonight's free meal and the discount."
When he heard that He Chi was a special police officer, he didn't dare to be so arrogant. To save face, he still insisted, "You're dreaming!"
He Chi ignored him and said with a click of his tongue, "You are such a jerk. No wonder the girl broke up with you. If I were you, I wouldn't even be able to show up in front of her."
"It's just a disgrace to us men."
The police also arrived and took the man to the police station after watching the surveillance footage in the bar.
He Chi asked Chen Ran to go with him.
