Chapter 94: Excessive (1/2)

After He Jin learned what happened in the bar, he called He Chi and asked, "Is it resolved?"

He Chi hummed in agreement and said to He Jin, "Please hire two or three strong and young security guards. Many of the people who come to the bar are young girls. We need to prevent similar incidents from happening again."

"That's an additional expense." He Jin also agreed with He Chi's idea.

Before he could even open his mouth to agree, he heard He Chi say, "The security guard fee will be on me."

He Chi was still furious. "I could have been at home sleeping with my wife in my arms, but now you have me come here to deal with these messes in the middle of the night."

He Jin: “…”

He was speechless for a moment, and reminded He Chi, "Brother, please consider the feelings of a single person like me."

It’s not a big deal that he doesn’t have a wife, he doesn’t even have a girlfriend and has to work hard outside to make a living.

He Chi laughed and said, "You single people should do more work so that married men like us can stay at home with our wives."

nerve.

Even more excessive than Chen Feng.

He Jin was too lazy to pay attention to him and hung up the call directly.

Several waiters nearby were listening to the conversation between the two bosses. When He Chi looked over, they quickly pretended to be busy.

Unexpectedly, He Chi continued to talk to them, "You see, older single men are psychologically fragile and can't stand being provoked."

Several people looked at He Chi and said with fake smiles, "Brother Chi, you are right, hehe!"

Bullshit.

It's not easy to lie with your eyes open for work.

Is being single illegal? Do singles have to work harder? Should singles take more vacations? Otherwise, how would they have time for a girlfriend?

He Chi helped them pack up and was busy in the bar. He didn't go home until Chen Ran came back from the police station. It was almost one o'clock in the morning when he got home.

The house was quiet. He Chi went to the master bedroom and saw that Jiang Yining was already asleep. He walked quietly to the cloakroom to get his pajamas and prepared to take a shower in the guest bedroom.

As he passed the living room, He Chi glanced at He Xiaohui's cat bed.

Now that He Xiaohui's backer was asleep, He Chi took advantage of this opportunity to drag He Xiaohui out of the door and gave him a severe scolding.

Jiang Yining was hugged by He Chi when she was half asleep.

She fluttered her eyelids and asked in a dazed voice, "Is the matter at the bar settled?"

He Chi hummed, "It's nothing, don't worry, go to sleep."

Jiang Yining moved and found a comfortable position to lie in He Chi's arms. When her hand touched his, she heard a soft hiss from the man beside her.

She immediately sobered up a bit, "What's wrong?"

"nothing."

If it's nothing, will you shrink your hand because of the pain?

Jiang Yining didn't believe it. She reached out to turn on the light and grabbed He Chi's hand to check.

He Chi sat up with her and said, "It's really nothing. I just accidentally scratched myself while picking up the broken glass."

There was a scratch on the palm of his right hand. The wound was not deep. Jiang Yining was relieved after checking it. "Has it been disinfected?"

He Chi said honestly, "No, there's no need for that. Let's go to sleep first and talk about it tomorrow."

Jiang Yining insisted, "No."

As she said that, she was about to get out of bed and go outside to find the medicine box. He Chi held her down and said, "I'll get it."

Jiang Yining found disinfectant and cotton swabs and gently helped him apply the disinfectant. "Don't go to your parents' house to learn how to cook tomorrow."

She thought for a moment and said, "If you really can't learn it, forget it. You don't have to know how to cook."

He Chi laughed and said, "If I give up halfway, Teacher Lin will beat me to a pulp with a rolling pin."

"There's nothing to do on vacation anyway."

After applying the medicine, Jiang Yining blew gently on his wound.

He Chi suddenly felt his hands itchy, and even his heart was itchy. He threw the medicine box aside and hugged the person to sleep again.
