He couldn't possibly discuss these things with Luo Xiaoli, because all she needed to do now was rest. After thinking about it for a long time last night, Jiang Cheng finally said those words.
"The next plan to besiege Axehead is urgent. Tali and I are of one mind and will not give it a chance to breathe. However... your driving qualification has been temporarily revoked. From today onwards, your only task is to rest."

Jiang Cheng picked up the apple and slowly peeled it with a fruit knife, his calm and magnetic voice echoing in the quiet ward.

Jiang Cheng gazed into Luo Xiaoli's beautiful eyes, a surge of tenderness welling up within him. He had never felt unhappy, for with her by his side, the long years ahead seemed all the more worth looking forward to.
She probably took those words to heart, and her anger subsided considerably. She decided to stop blaming the other person.
Just as the two were getting intimate and about to kiss, a knock on the door suddenly rang out, leaving Luo Xiaoli speechless.
Who on earth was this uninvited guest who ruined his plans?
Jiang Cheng responded softly, walked to the door of the ward, opened it, and Gu Qingwan came into view. Behind her were two other beautiful figures.
It turned out to be Ke Bing and Zhao Xuerou.
They witnessed everything in the dimension of death, and knew that Luo Xiaoli was injured. They worried all night and came to the military hospital the next morning.
Jiang Cheng and the two women were old acquaintances, so there was no need for much small talk. He simply let them in, carrying fruit baskets and flowers.
"Is everything alright?" Ke Bing asked calmly.
In contrast, Zhao Xuerou seemed a bit awkward, unsure how to talk to Jiang Cheng. She remained silent, her gaze darting away.
"Fortunately, I have a broken leg, and I will probably need to rest for a while before I can walk again."
"That's good." Ke Bing breathed a sigh of relief and went to the hospital bed.
At the door, Gu Qingwan gently called to the boss. Jiang Cheng knew at a glance that it was business. He didn't rush out, but turned around and instructed, "You two chat first. Xiao Li, I have something to take care of."
"Okay, go ahead."
Jiang Cheng nodded, closed the door, and went into the corridor.
"Boss, there's a meeting with the federal high command. It's quite important. Let's go together."
Is Tali here too?
"Here I am."
