Because he had been bent over, Jiang Cheng gradually felt a strong warmth rising from his back and the top of his head. After the dizziness subsided, Jiang Cheng looked up into the distance.
A scene completely different from the dim and bloody atmosphere inside the room slowly unfolded before his eyes as he raised them.
In the distance, majestic mountains rise against the sky, and a rising sun hangs in the eastern sky, its rays pouring down, warming the entire city. Closer by, towering trees surround the vast open field, morning mist swirling across the landscape, the air filled with the fresh scent of grass and trees, and warm sunlight filtering through layers of leaves, casting dappled shadows on the lush green grass.
This seemingly old black house sits quietly in the middle of the vast wilderness.
However, calling it a house is an understatement; it's more like a "prison."
Jiang Cheng greedily inhaled the fresh air while looking back at the place he had come from.
This was a room surrounded by layers of iron plates on all four sides. There was only one tall window on each of the four walls, which was sealed very firmly by iron bars the size of a thumb. A strong smell of blood was emanating from the small gap.
No wonder the room was so dark after the door was closed.
Jiang Cheng was momentarily dazed, thinking it was already late at night, which is why he was so shocked when he came out and found it so bright outside.
