Chapter 264 Does he come every day?
“Um…” Corey hesitated for a moment, but still told Nancy, “Lola was also tortured by Martin and was hospitalized.”
So what if she's in the hospital? Nancy just wants to strangle Lola right now.
"Then I'll go to the hospital to see her."
Nancy was extremely calm. If Corey didn't know what had happened between them, she would really think that Nancy just wanted to visit her sister in the hospital.
Corey didn't dare make the decision himself. "Let me ask the gentleman."
Nancy tacitly approved of Corey's actions.
After Corey finished asking for instructions, he put down his phone and said to Nancy, "The master has agreed, but I need to go with you."
"good!"
Corey personally escorted Nancy to the hospital where Laura was.
Nancy walked to the ward door, kicked it open, and strode inside.
Lola has almost recovered. She usually needs to rest for a few days after returning from Martin's place, but this time she was so badly injured that she had to be hospitalized to treat her wounds.
She was leaning against the bed eating a snack when the door to the ward was suddenly kicked open loudly, startling Lola.
When she recognized Nancy as the person who walked in, the pastries in her hand fell onto the blanket, and her expression changed drastically. "Nancy? What are you doing here?"
Nancy walked up to Laura and looked at her coldly. "Are you wondering how I'm still alive?"
Lola's eyes darted away, and she gave a dry laugh. "Are you kidding me?"
Nancy didn't give Lola time to react, raising her hand and slapping Lola hard across the face.
"Ah!" Lola cried out in surprise, but Nancy slapped her again with her backhand.
"Nancy, you're insane!" Laura never expected Nancy to hit her. She glared at Nancy angrily. "How dare you hit me? I'm your own sister!"
"My own sister?" Nancy scoffed. "My own sister would send someone to kill me?"
Nancy suddenly grabbed Lola by the throat and squeezed hard. "You don't think I'll let you off so easily, do you?"
Lola's face was already flushed red. She grabbed Nancy's wrists with both hands, trying to make Nancy let go, but Nancy's grip was strong, and she was tightly choking Lola's neck.
Laura wasn't as strong as Nancy, so she used her sharpened nails to dig into Nancy's hands and wrists.
Blood dripped from her wrist onto the white blanket, but Nancy seemed oblivious to the pain, maintaining her grip without loosening it. "Lola, you shouldn't have touched Ivan. If you had only been after me, I might have let you go."
Just when Lola thought she was about to be strangled, someone came in.
"Nancy, stop!"
Hearing the familiar yet nauseating voice, Nancy slowly released Laura.
Lola clutched her neck, gasping for breath, coughing violently, her chest heaving. She was trembling all over, trembling with fear; the feeling of being on the verge of death was truly terrifying.
Nancy didn't want to get her clothes dirty, so she slowly rolled up her sleeves and turned to look at her so-called father.
William was momentarily stunned when he saw Nancy in women's clothing. It reminded him of Nancy's mother, the Chinese girl. The mother and daughter looked very alike. He had liked Nancy's mother, but unfortunately, she was disobedient and refused to stay by his side, secretly running back to China.
Nancy's personality is just like her mother's; she will never learn to be obedient.
William narrowed his eyes. "Nancy, are you trying to kill Lola? She's your sister."
Nancy gave a mocking laugh. "Sister? When she sent people to China to kill me, did she ever think of me as her sister? I was just retaliating in kind."
William frowned and glanced at Laura on the hospital bed. She was more trouble than she was worth. Not only had she failed to resolve things with Martin, but she had also wasted Ivan's time, and now she had gotten involved with Nancy. He really didn't know what was wrong with her brain.
William withdrew his disgusted gaze and looked at Nancy again. "Nancy, Morrison took one of my important clients away yesterday. I hope he can send him back. Go and talk to him about it."
"What client?" Nancy looked down at the wound on her wrist, watching the blood on it slowly congeal.
“You’ll know him as soon as you mention the Mo family of China.”
William didn't know why Morrison wanted to take Mo Chi away, and he didn't dare to ask for him back in person, so he could only ask Nancy to do it, knowing that Morrison liked Nancy very much.
“I asked him to bring the ink pool out.” Nancy raised her head and looked at William indifferently.
"What did you say?" William asked angrily. "Why did you do this?"
“Because I want to repay a debt of gratitude!” Nancy didn’t want to waste words with William and tried to walk away from him.
William grabbed Nancy's arm and said fiercely, "Do you know what you're doing? You're betraying the family!"
“If I could, I would rather wipe out the William family!” Nancy freed her arm.
William scoffed, "Do you think Morrison can protect you forever just because you've hooked up with him? You're just a plaything for him to play with for a while. Once he loses interest in you, you'll be in big trouble without the protection of the William family."
“What’s the difference?” Nancy didn’t want to look at William again. “Evan won’t be coming back to Dream Creek Manor either.”
Nancy left the ward without looking back.
Corey frowned when he saw the wound on Nancy's wrist. "Miss Nancy, your injury..."
"It's nothing, just a scratch from Lola's tear. I can just put some medicine on it when we get back." Nancy didn't care about this minor injury at all.
Corey's lips twitched. He wondered how his boss would react when he saw it; the wound was rather glaring.
Nancy returned to Morrison's villa, and Ivan ate something and then fell asleep.
She quietly entered the guest room. Ivan was sleeping soundly; he must have been too tired. Seeing that he had a chance to live, Nancy was relieved.
Corey called a doctor to bandage Nancy's wound, and Nancy's wrist was wrapped in gauze.
Morrison returned very late, and Nancy sat in the living room waiting for him, because none of the rooms belonged to her.
As soon as Morrison returned, he saw Nancy sitting upright on the sofa. "Why are you waiting here?"
Nancy stood up when she heard the voice. "Sir, you're back!"
Morrison walked over and gently stroked Nancy's face with his finger. "Were you getting impatient?"
"No." Nancy had been thinking about Ivan. How could she prevent Ivan from returning to the manor?
Nancy looked up at Morrison tenderly. "Sir, thank you for helping me so much."
Morrison's hand was still touching Nancy's face when he moved his hand behind Nancy's head, cupped her hands, and kissed her.
Upon seeing this, the servants in the villa quietly left.
Morrison's other hand kneaded Nancy's pert buttocks.
Nancy's body was pressed tightly against Morrison's when something hard suddenly pressed against her lower abdomen, making her a little panicked.
No way! Does he come every day?
