Wanhua is a subsidiary, and its highest-ranking leader was previously the general manager.

She pushed open the door and entered. The man in the leather chair was facing away from the door, flipping through documents.
Chu Rou walked to the other side of the desk. "Hello, President, I am Chu Rou."
The man turned around and sneered, "Long time no see, Chu Rou."
"Mo...Mo Chi," Chu Rou stammered, she could hardly believe her eyes, "How is it you? Why didn't you go to class?"
"What do you mean 'long time no see'? It's only been a day," Chu Rou thought to herself.
"Leaving without saying goodbye, just leaving like that?" Mo Chi stood up and walked to the opposite side of Chu Rou.
"When I left, you weren't up yet. I didn't want to disturb your rest, so I didn't say goodbye." Chu Rou stepped back and leaned against the desk.
Mo Chi leaned forward, resting his arms on the desk, trapping Chu Rou. "I got up at seven, I don't know what time you left, it wasn't five, was it?"
Chu Rou shook her head, "No, I left at 5:30."
Mo Chi chuckled, "You probably forgot that you took my wages, had to take care of me for five years, and that you forcibly kissed me and almost slept with me."
"You think you can just walk away and shirk responsibility? Do you think I, Mo Chi, am so easy to bully?"
Chu Rou swallowed hard. "I just want to give you time and space to calm down."
"No need, I'm always very calm." Mo Chi withdrew his arm, straightened up, and returned to his seat behind his desk.
Chu Rou clutched her chest and exhaled.
She turned around and asked Mo Chi about serious matters, "Mo Chi, are you really the new president of Wanhua?"
"Of course, otherwise why would I be sitting here?"

Mo Chi glanced at her. "Minor matters are the general manager's responsibility; only major matters require my decision."
