Chapter 171 Dare to cause trouble, and we'll all sink to the bottom of the sea.

It's already noon, time to have lunch.

The table was laden with delicious food.

"Did you have fun these past few days?" Fu Huaijin asked casually, as if they were having a casual chat. Although he wasn't by her side, Su Yuxi's every move was being reported to her by someone else.

Her only hobby is dragging Wan Qianqian around shopping, and she seems to have no worries about him at all.

"It's alright." Su Yuxi lowered her head, feeling a little guilty, because she had spent a lot of money on various foods and purchases these past few days, and was now quite afraid that this man would come back and hold her accountable.

I had planned to transport the jewelry back to the mountains in the next few days, but he returned yesterday, so this plan will probably have to be put on hold for now.

"Okay, I'll take you out to sea later."

Su Yuxi looked up at him: "What are we going out to sea for?"

"Let's go fishing."

A glimmer of longing flickered in her eyes, and she nodded. "That's fine. Going out for a bit, seeing some different scenery, and fishing wouldn't be bad either."

After finishing the meal, Fu Huaijin took the person out directly. Everything needed had been prepared. It was as if he was just coming back to inform her.

The helicopter is ready.

Su Yuxi watched as the military green fuselage gleamed in the sunlight. She felt as if she had been forced onto the plane and landed passively on a small island.

She thought going out to sea for fishing meant going out on a yacht, but little did she know it was to his private island.

Su Yuxi stared blankly at the magnificent sunset on the horizon, gazing at the vast sea where the sky met the sea in the distance. Seagulls flapped their wings in the sky, leaving behind a series of melodious cries.

One second she was eating at home, and the next she was on this secluded island.

She looked around, but apart from them and some bodyguards and servants, she couldn't see Qianqian anywhere.

A sense of doubt arose in her heart, and she turned to ask the man behind her, "Where is Qianqian?"

What's this guy doing?

Fu Huaijin snapped out of his thoughts, met her questioning eyes, and said slowly, "They will arrive the next day."

Su Yuxi rolled her eyes inwardly. Since they weren't coming until tomorrow, why drag her here so early? Couldn't they have waited?

"oh."

Although she lost her best friend, it didn't stop her from appreciating the beautiful sunset at the beach.

She kicked off her shoes, happily took the man's large hand, and strolled together on the soft sand, feeling more relaxed than ever before.

A seagull flew low overhead, circling twice in front of her defiantly, its cawing seeming to say: I can fly, you four-legged creature will never be able to fly, caw caw caw...

Su Yuxi narrowed her eyes: "A mere pigeon dares to challenge me? I'll catch you, torture you, and eat you."

She let go of the man's hand and took off chasing the seagull. The seagull cooperated by flying low, enticing her to chase it. Whenever the woman felt it was about to catch her, the seagull would accelerate, making her chase even more enthusiastic.

Su Yuxi felt as if she had returned to the carefree time in the mountains, where she didn't have to worry about being schemed against. Every day she did nothing but play and eat, occasionally playing pranks on others, and with her grandfather by her side.

"Ahhhhh..." Su Yuxi cupped her hands into a megaphone and shouted loudly towards the sea, as if she wanted to shout out all the frustration in her heart.

Fu Huaijin stood with his hands in his pockets, watching the people chasing after him. A seagull flew over and landed on his shoulder. He closed his eyes and felt the sea breeze on his body. The heavy burden on his shoulders was temporarily lifted, replaced by a long-lost sense of ease.

Hearing the low murmur of the waves, Su Yuxi turned around and smiled at the man in the distance. Her smile was warm and bright: "I want to go swimming."

Without giving anyone a chance to react, she ran up to the mottled rocks not far away and then jumped into the sea.

The sea below was neither deep nor shallow, but her sudden action really startled Fu Huaijin.

The moment she jumped, Fu Huaijin rushed up and jumped after her without the slightest hesitation.

As soon as Su Yuxi surfaced from the water, she was embraced from behind. The man's strong arms and warm body instantly dispelled the chill of the seawater.

She gently swung her legs and turned over, her eyes meeting the man's angry gaze. Her smile faded, and she felt a slight tremor in her heart: "Wh...what's wrong?"

"Do you know how dangerous it was to jump down just now?" Fu Huaijin was really angry. When he saw her jump down, his heart seemed to stop. Without a second of hesitation, he jumped down after her.

Su Yuxi's body was being pushed up and down by the seawater. She clung to his shoulders with both hands, her face covered in seawater and showing a hint of grievance: "Where is it dangerous? I'm a very good swimmer."

Fu Huaijin watched as she gently bit her lower lip with her pearly teeth. Her beautiful face was even more dazzling against the backdrop of the seawater, like a spider lily suddenly blooming on the sea surface. He knew that there was danger ahead, and that it should not belong to him, but he still fell into it without hesitation.

Su Yuxi lowered her eyes and murmured softly, "That's how it is."

She has hundreds of years of swimming experience. Can't she judge whether there is danger or not? She's not a three-year-old child.

Even your grandfather isn't as nosy as you.

She barely uttered those words; they were merely a thought escaping her lips, but the man in front of her still heard them.

Fu Huaijin didn't know what he was thinking, but he grabbed her waist and sank into the sea.

Su Yuxi was caught off guard by the pull, her eyes widened in disbelief, but some things become easier with practice. The moment the man pulled her down, she quickly adjusted her mindset and started swinging her legs and arms.

She struggled in the water, trying to break free from the man's grasp.

This time, she raised her foot without hesitation and kicked him decisively. In the past, she might not have been able to kick this man, but at some point, her strength became incredibly great.

Although this kick didn't send the person flying two miles, it was enough to send them flying a short distance. As if she was angry with Fu Huaijin, Su Yuxi twisted her agile body and swam away after kicking him.

Fu Huaijin gently rubbed his shoulder where he had been kicked, his brows furrowing slightly. Watching Su Yuxi swim further and further away, he suppressed his doubts and quickly chased after her.

Just as Su Yuxi said, she is indeed a very good swimmer. In the water, she is like a mermaid in the deep sea, with graceful movements and extremely fast speed. Just when you think you can catch her, she is like a slippery eel, darting out of your reach.

When Su Yuxi resurfaced, she was already far from the coastline.

Fu Huaijin followed closely behind, his eyes no longer showing the worry he had just displayed, but instead a hint of appreciation for her.
