A faint look of confusion filled Su Yuxi's eyes. She wondered why Lu Yunzhou had sent her a lawyer's letter.
Are you going to sue her? What are you going to sue her for?
Should I tell her I want to break up with her?
Did you hit him?
She took a small envelope and sat back down on the sofa, not opening it, her gaze lingering on it for a long time.
She was afraid that something harmful might be inside, but she was also curious about what it contained.
After hesitating for a while, she decided to open the letter. Some things can't be ignored just because you don't open them. Since it was a lawyer's letter, she had to open it sooner or later.
After tearing open the envelope, Su Yuxi poured out a light piece of paper. When she opened it, the contents made her so angry she almost exploded.
It's ridiculous! This bastard actually wants her to return all the money and gifts she received over the past three years.
The words "shameless" are not enough to describe him; he's simply... a fucking bastard.

Before Su Yuxi could even process this ridiculous news, her phone rang. It was an unknown number calling. She disdainfully tossed the letter aside and ignored it.
After the call from the unknown number ended, a second call came in.
This time, Su Yuxi accepted the offer.
Just as she had guessed, the person opposite her was indeed Lu Yunzhou.
"Hey, Xixi, have you seen the lawyer's letter I sent?"
"Would you like to come out and talk to me?" The tone on the other end was relaxed, completely lacking the gloomy and desperate feeling from before.
"What are we talking about? Are you going to make me return the things you gave me?" Su Yuxi's tone was cold and somewhat angry. She wanted to yell at the person on the other end of the line for having such unrealistic dreams. She had been with him for three years, enduring his infidelity and the gossip behind his back. Why should he just give them back as he pleases?
"Xixi, there are some things that can't be explained over the phone. Can we meet up outside?"
Su Yuxi pursed her lips, looked at the piece of paper that was as heavy as a thousand pieces of gold, pondered for a moment, and finally agreed.
The two arranged to meet at a coffee shop. When she arrived, she saw Lu Yunzhou covered in injuries. He was sitting in a chair with his head and hands wrapped in thick bandages. Behind him stood two burly bodyguards. His injuries and the presence of two bodyguards made him stand out in the crowd.
Su Yuxi scoffed inwardly, her face still flushed with anger, and strode forward. She had come to see what tricks this man was up to, not to give in to him.
When Lu Yunzhou saw that familiar figure, his eyes lit up instantly, and a happy smile spread across his face, radiating a long-lost vitality and joy. His aura became exceptionally bright and clear.
Su Yuxi sat down opposite him, arms crossed, her face very displeased. If he had called her a scumbag before, it wouldn't have mattered if she was a little angry, as long as he distanced himself from her, it wouldn't hurt her in the slightest.
But now he's trying to steal her jewelry money, that man deserves to die.

Seeing her resistance, it would be a lie to say Lu Yunzhou wasn't hurt. He forced a smile, his fingers trembling slightly as he picked up the water glass beside him, took a slow sip, and looked at her charming face. A struggle flashed deep in his pupils. Afraid of softening his heart, he quickly turned his head and looked forlornly out the window.
He didn't want to do it, but he had no choice.
The bodyguard behind her placed two documents in front of Su Yuxi.
Seeing that it was yet another document, Su Yuxi's brows furrowed with barely concealed impatience. She angrily opened one of them, and the contents inside ignited her anger like sparks flying into her eyes.
The papers inside were as thick as three of her fingers held together, recording all her expenses over the past three years. This included large transfers, gifts, clothes, bags, and various travel destinations, detailing how much she spent. She even had to pay half for her first-class tickets. All her expenses were meticulously recorded.
I really wish I could scrape a layer of bone and blood off her.
Su Yuxi grew angrier the more she looked at it. After only a few glances, she couldn't stand it anymore. She slammed the file shut, her eyes blazing with fury: "What do you mean?"
Lu Yunzhou touched the ring on his middle finger, took a deep breath, turned his head to meet Su Yuxi's angry eyes. He wanted to avoid her gaze, but thinking of the purpose of his visit today, he gritted his teeth, suppressed his reluctance, and forced himself to speak in a deep voice.
"It's just like what you see."
"I am giving you these gifts and money on the premise of marriage."
"If you want to break up with me, then please give all these things and money back to me."
Su Yuxi laughed out of anger: "Are you sick? You give something away and then expect it to be returned. There's no one as immoral as you."
Lu Yunzhou was well aware of this problem; in this circle, no one ever asks for a gift back after giving it away.
But he had no choice; even if it meant losing all face, he had to keep the person here.
He knew that Su Yuxi cared most about money; money was her lifeline. Since she didn't want him, she didn't want the money either.
"Don't rush, take a look at the other contract first."
Su Yuxi's chest heaved with anger, but she only glanced at him out of the corner of her eye without making any move. Who knew what kind of trap that bastard was setting for her inside?
Lu Yunzhou wasn't in a hurry. He slowly opened the document for her and then pushed it in front of her: "This is a share transfer agreement. As long as you agree to continue being with me, 80% of the shares under my name will be yours. I won't ask for those gifts and money back."
"Xixi, you're very smart. You know how to make a choice." His smile was gentle and harmless, but his words were like venomous snakes striking deep into Su Yuxi's soul.
This was a blatant threat: she was being told she had to take the money or the person back, or the money would be returned.
Such a large sum of money is not something anyone could easily part with.
But that's how the law is now. If the man transfers a large sum of money with the intention of getting married, and the two eventually break up, then she has to return the money.
Su Yuxi laughed repeatedly, but her laughter concealed boundless anger. She wished she could kick the man in the face; only he could do something so utterly shameless.
What if I don't pay it back?
"Xixi, the law stipulates that if you don't pay it back, you'll go to jail. Do you want to spend the rest of your life in prison?"
Su Yuxi clenched her fists quietly under the table, her knuckles turning slightly white from the force, her lips trembling, and each breath she took suppressed the anger that was about to erupt.
She really wanted to rush over and punch him to death, provided that killing someone wasn't illegal.
