Chapter 13 I Became a Beast God in the Beast World 3
Zhou Jue led nine rabbit-beastmen out of the tribe and began their first herb-gathering lesson.
“Look everyone, this is crescent grass.” Zhou Jue squatted down next to a silvery-white herb: “Its leaves are crescent-shaped, and it is mainly used to treat coughs and fever.”
“My Lord, I’ve eaten this before!” Little White excitedly raised his hand: “It’s sweet, but I didn’t know it could cure diseases.”

After collecting all the plants in this area, Zhou Jue asked the rabbit-beastman, "Are there any vine-like plants around here?"
"My lord, there is a patch of golden vines ahead. They are bitter and very difficult to chew. Only my giant tooth can easily bite them through." The giant tooth leaned over and pointed to its large tooth, somewhat proudly.
"Let's go take a look."
The group headed straight for the Golden Leaf Vine, which grew beside the river and was covered in small purple flowers.

Seeing the beasts getting busy, Zhou Jue also took out his Boundary-Breaking Shovel and began collecting. As he dug, he discovered several special plants on the back of the Golden Leaf Vine.
With its small red berries and green leaves, it looks just like a chili pepper from Earth.
"Is this a mutated chili pepper?" Zhou Jue walked over excitedly.
"Divine Envoy, don't touch it!" Luo Ying hurriedly stopped her: "This is poisonous!"
"Poisonous?" Zhou Jue asked, puzzled.
“Yes, some members of our tribe ate it before, and their stomachs ached all day.” Luo Ying said nervously, “The chief said it was a poisonous fruit from the forest.”
Zhou Jue observed carefully and then asked the system, confirming that it was indeed a chili pepper: "Luo Ying, when you said your stomach hurt, did your mouth also hurt? Like it was on fire?"
"Yes, yes, yes!" Luo Ying nodded repeatedly, "That's exactly the feeling!"
“That’s not poison, it’s spicy.” Zhou Jue laughed: “This is called spicy fruit. It does cause pain, but it’s actually a good thing.”
"Good stuff?" All the rabbit-beastmen widened their eyes.
“Yes, it can make food taste better and keep you warm.” Zhou Jue began collecting the ingredients: “The key is to know how to use it.”
"My Lord, are you sure everything will be alright?" Short Tail asked worriedly.
"No, I promise." Zhou Jue put the few remaining spicy fruits into the Starry Secret Box: "I'll teach you how to use them when we get back."
Over the next few days, Zhou Jue discovered several more useful plants. Some could supplement vitamins, some could relieve pain, and there was even an itchy herb.
"My Lord, you are amazing!" Little White exclaimed. "We see these herbs every day, yet they are all treasures."
"The Beast God has bestowed power upon you," Zhou Jue said with a smile. "You must study hard, so that you too can become shamans of the tribe in the future."
Just as everyone was enthusiastically collecting the materials, Long Ears suddenly looked up at the sky.
“My Lord, it’s getting dark.” Long Ears pointed to the sun in the west: “We should go back.”
"Why?" Zhou Jue asked, puzzled.
"The forest is dangerous at night; nocturnal beasts roam there," Shorttail explained. "Our Snow Rabbit tribe is defenseless at night."
Zhou Jue glanced at the sky; it was indeed starting to get dark. "Then let's call it a day and head back."
After the group finished collecting the herbs, Zhou Jue put them away and they started heading towards the tribe.
"My Lord, today was fantastic!" Little White exclaimed excitedly. "I learned so much!"
“Yes, we won’t be afraid of getting sick anymore.” Luo Ying was also very happy.
Looking at these innocent rabbit-beastmen, Zhou Jue felt a surge of warmth in her heart. Although this was just a mission world, she genuinely wanted to help these kind-hearted beings.
The group walked towards the tribe, and Zhou Jue answered everyone's questions as they went. As they got closer, they could hear faint laughter and cheerful voices.
"What's all this commotion about?" Zhou Jue quickened his pace unconsciously.
