The hunter noticed that the moose seemed to really like Lin Feng.
They made no attempt to stop them whatsoever.
Let the moose lick the forest breeze.
They also lowered their guard against Lin Feng considerably.
The moose he raises are innocent and kind children.
The humans they like can't be too bad either.
He spoke slowly after a while.
"Alright, kids, go eat!"
He circled the moose, preparing to herd them back into the backyard.
Netizens found Lin Feng both pitiful and hilarious.
Sometimes being loved too much by animals isn't a good thing.
He walked to the door of the igloo and pushed open a door made of thick animal hide.
"It's too cold outside, come inside!"
"These are some little guys I adopted when I had nothing else to do. They were homeless, so I took them in!"
Bai Lu then realized: "So those meats hanging by the side of the house are also venison?"
Lin Feng quietly explained to her, "There's no other way. People need food to survive here! That meat looks like it's been sitting around for a while!"
The three of them entered the igloo.
Lin Feng asked, "You just said you knew where the snowy owl's mother is?"
The hunter opened a small room inside.
It was unusually warm inside.
Lin Feng and Bai Lu followed him to another room.
He looked around; the room was small and simply furnished.
These are all rare animals.
These little guys all look listless and have no energy.
As an experienced veterinarian, he immediately recognized the problem.
This seemingly rugged hunter was actually treating these injured animals!
So, were the animals he caught in the snow just now actually injured, and he wanted to bring them back for treatment?
He turned to Bai Lu and asked in a low voice, "Did you misunderstand her just now?"
Bai Lu was also a little embarrassed, scratching her head: "It seems that's indeed the case!"
"Mommy Snowy Owl is here!"
Bai Lu suddenly pointed to a dilapidated table in the corner of the room and shouted excitedly.
Lin Feng looked in the direction she pointed and sure enough, there was a bird's nest on the dilapidated table.
There was a snowy white snowy owl that looked exactly like the little guy in Lin Feng's hand.
When the snowy owl saw Lin Feng arrive, a glimmer of light flashed in its previously lifeless eyes.
The little guy in Lin Feng's arms became even more excited.
With a "flutter," it jumped directly from Lin Feng's arms into the bird's nest.
"Chirp chirp chirp~"
(Mom~)
The little one chirped happily around its mother snowy owl, its voice full of affection.
The snowy owl was moved to see her child survive.
This scene moved both Lin Feng and Bai Lu.
The scene moved many netizens who witnessed it.
[Great! The snowy owl mother was indeed injured, which is why her baby was stranded!]
The hunter looked at the mother and son who had been reunited and a smile of relief appeared on his face.
"I found this snowy owl when I went out a few days ago. It seemed to be seriously injured, so I brought it back. I didn't expect that it had babies outside. I didn't notice that!"
"You've already done so much to help them!"
Looking at the professional-looking medicines, Lin Feng asked in bewilderment, "You look like a hunter. What? Are you a veterinarian?"
Is the technique very professional?
The hunter chuckled sheepishly, "I've only learned the basics! It's nothing!"
He sighed.
"It's just that there aren't any more medicines here right now, otherwise these little guys would definitely have somewhere to get treatment!"
Upon hearing this, Lin Feng...
"You said there are no medications available here? I do have some expertise in animal treatment; I can help you save them!"
The hunter looked at Lin Feng and Bai Lu with a puzzled expression.
"Oh, right, we haven't formally introduced ourselves yet. My name is Lin Feng, and I'm a forest ranger. Her name is Bai Lu. We came to Antarctica together to release penguins!"
"We ran into this little guy yesterday when we went skiing after we released the penguins and got home!"
"My name is Jiang Jingfu, you can just call me Uncle Fu!"
It was getting dark.
Jiang Jingfu also prepared to cook dinner.
"The food here is simple and plain, so you might have to make do with it!"
"No, no!" Lin Feng waved his hand.
"Uncle Fu, we feel so bad that you have to cook for us when your living conditions here are so harsh. I didn't bring anything with me. Why don't I cook today?"
He quite unceremoniously pulled out a piece of pork, a head of cabbage, glass noodles, and a seasoning packet from his backpack.
Actually, they were all stored in the space.
Jiang Jingfu looked at the small backpack filled with vegetables and meat.
His eyes were practically bulging out of their sockets.
When you come to Antarctica, you should at least bring some equipment, right? But Lin Feng is lucky; he's packed with delicious vegetables and meat.
"This is too much trouble for you."
"What's the big deal! I may not have much else, but I have plenty of ingredients!"
Lin Feng took out the roasted field mouse and iced cola he had made that morning.
Antarctica, a place sparsely populated by humans.
Jiang Jingfu hadn't seen such things in many years.
She looked at the food Lin Feng took out with envy.
"Uncle Fu, can I borrow a light?"
"Okay, okay, use it as you like!"
Lin Feng walked to the stove, rolled up his sleeves, and started working.
