Li Hun remained silent for a long time, and Li Su felt uncertain.
"Li Su, so you still remember me as your brother!"
The voice was calm, yet filled with boundless sarcasm; Li Su's face paled.
"Brother, no, what happened back then..."
"Enough, shut up."
A water cup fell to Li Su's feet and shattered into pieces upon impact with the ground.
Just like the relationship between Li Su and Li Hun, it was once complete, but due to a crack, it can never be the same again.
"Li Su, if you just want to come and discuss what happened back then, then please get lost."
"Brother, I really didn't know, I really didn't know they would..."
Li Su didn't say the rest; she herself didn't know how to say it.
After a long while, the atmosphere in the room became silent and suffocating. Li Hun seemed unfazed.

When the favorability rating became even negative, Li Su panicked and sought help from Li Hun.

Li Hun remained silent for a long time. The room was dimly lit, and Li Su couldn't see Li Hun's expression. The unknown is often the most unsettling, and coupled with past events, Li Su's emotions reached their peak.
"This is the last time. I've always loved you the most."
Muttering these words to himself, Li Hun, in the dim light, was like a demon emerging from the abyss, staring intently at Li Su.
It turns out, his dear sister knew he was good to her.
"Li Su, so you know I've been good to you, but how have you treated me? Do I need to spell it out for you?"
His tone was flat, revealing no emotional fluctuations, yet it sent a chill down one's spine.
"Brother... Brother, what are you saying? I don't understand."
"Don't understand? Heh, Li Su, you're just too afraid to admit it!"
With a mocking smile in his eyes, Li Hun understood Li Su less and less. He thought she was bold, yet she always came to him for help whenever she encountered trouble.
To say she was cowardly is an understatement; yet she dared to conspire with outsiders to scheme against him—or rather, it was Li Su who schemed against him all by herself.
Li Su, his dear sister, is truly a fascinating and contradictory figure.
Cold sweat streamed down Li Su's face, her whole body tense. She knew that Li Hun, with his intelligence, probably guessed something, but she hadn't expected him to guess the truth so directly.
Li Su had always had mixed feelings of love and hate towards her older brother, Li Hun. She hesitated, about to say something, when her mother's shouting came from inside the courtyard.
"Li Su, Li Su, you damned bastard, where have you been? I haven't washed the clothes or cooked the meal, do you think you're something special? Li Su, get out here right now! I'll count to three, and if you're still not out, you can get out of here!"
"three."
The voices outside were urging them, but Li Hun inside gave no reply.
"Brother~" Li Su pleaded.
"two."
Li Hun finally moved, looking at Li Su with a meaningful gaze.
"Didn't Chen Fang give you the medicine? Go and administer it! I'll take care of the rest."
Li Hun uttered these words softly, then fell silent. Li Su suddenly looked up, staring intently at Li Hun. How did Li Hun know about Chen Fang and her affair, which was so secret?
"You don't have to do what I say."
Before Li Su could voice her doubts, Li Hun reminded her,
"Mother has counted to one."
Just as he finished speaking, the deadline given by Li's mother in the yard arrived.
"Mother, I'm here."
After clarifying the differences and finding out the truth, the most important thing now is to reassure Li's mother.
“Mom, I’m in my eldest brother’s room. He said he was thirsty, so I got him a glass of water.”
"Go to hell, you worthless bastard! Didn't I tell you you're not allowed to go into your brother's room? Are you ignoring me? Li Su, you've already harmed your brother once, how many more times are you going to do it?"
Then cries and shouts of beatings and cursing filled the courtyard, almost daily, until the neighbors had become accustomed to it.
Everyone knows that the Li family has two children; the younger sister caused trouble outside, resulting in her brother's leg being broken.
The cries were so melodious that Li Hun loved them. Ever since his legs had become shorter, he had been captivated by Li Su's cries.
Standing quietly by the window, he poked a small hole in the window, and with one glance, Li Hun could see the entire courtyard.
Li Su was beaten again. Her mother grabbed her by the ear and slapped her repeatedly. Li Su cried miserably.
Cry, cry, he cried like this back then.
When he cried, Li Su secretly rejoiced; now that he laughs, Li Su cries—it's all a cycle of cause and effect.
Tired from hitting him, Li's mother walked towards him. Li Hun returned to the chair he had sat in for two years with light steps.
His once bright eyes began to go numb, and he slumped motionless in his seat.
