Chapter 84 I Have a Big Project Worth Hundreds of Millions

Beside the Tankar Forest lies an independent city-state called 'Danton City'.

The city lord here is a half-human, half-elf.

With the rise of the Tankar elves, the city of Danton came into being, and King Fisheranki of the Tankar elves appointed a governor to serve as the lord of Danton.

The shrewd green-skinned goblins immediately seized the opportunity and opened the 'Danton Goblin Branch' in Denton.

The magnificent carriage stopped at the gilded gates of the 'Danton Goblin Branch'.

"Hey! Jack! Look, another big shot has arrived!" Tommy, who was in charge of greeting the VIP, said to Jack beside him.

“I see. Same rules as always, the winner goes first.” With that, Jack pulled out a copper coin.

“Yes,” Tommy said.

"Then I will rebel."

Tommy tossed the coin into the air, heads up, and under the resentful gazes of his colleagues, he happily trotted to the carriage.

Just then, the car door opened.

A tall man stepped out of the carriage.

The man wore a black velvet cloak, had black hair and blue eyes, and possessed the kind of handsome looks that could make countless noble ladies scream.

He leaned on a sapphire-encrusted cane with one hand, revealing a section of his navy blue sleeve. Tommy, with his sharp eyes, immediately noticed that this nobleman's clothes were anything but ordinary.

The clothes woven by the elves—are they clothes? They're walking, human-shaped mountains of gold!

By the God of Light, this is a really big client for him!!

Unable to contain his excitement, he eagerly stepped forward to greet him.

But then the handsome man turned around and used one hand to block the edge of the carriage roof.

A stunningly beautiful woman emerged from the carriage with her head slightly bowed.

Once her head was above the edge of the carriage roof, the man immediately reached out to help her down the carriage steps.

Tommy was stunned. He had never seen such a beautiful woman before.

However, at this very moment...

The wealthy, tall man turned his head slightly, his cold blue eyes fixed on Tommy like a dangerous beast in the forest staring at a foolish human who had strayed into its territory.

“Darling,” Li Aili called out helplessly.

Arthur then calmly withdrew his gaze.

Tommy felt a lightness spread through his body. A breeze blew by, making his back feel cool. His clothes were soaked with sweat, and his legs were trembling slightly.

The Duke forcefully put his arm around Li Aili's shoulder and said in a slightly cold voice, "Lead the way."

Tommy nodded quickly, like a chick pecking at rice, "Please, please follow me."

Stepping into the Goblin Bank, the first floor is a bustling lobby.

The room was filled with small cubicles where green-skinned goblins sat on high chairs, their small eyes gleaming with shrewd calculation as they tried to persuade, or rather, convince, their clients to conduct various transactions.

“Listen to me, here, as long as you invest in this project, you will immediately become a Samsung customer and then enjoy a higher rate of return than fixed deposits.”

His client yelled in frustration, "I just want to save money!!! How many times do I have to say it???"

The goblin calmly wiped the drool off his face. "So, I'm advising you to choose a more efficient investment plan."

"Shit!! You bunch of green-skinned little monsters are all shit! Call your manager out here!! Did you hear me?! Call the manager here!!!"

The goblin calmly replied, "Oh, okay."

He picked up the megaphone and said, "This is window number 1. My client requests to see the manager."

In less than 10 seconds, a goblin dressed more elegantly and wearing mini gold-rimmed glasses ran over.

The two goblins huddled together and communicated in goblin language.

Then, Li Aili heard the goblin manager say, "This customer, I recommend you purchase this financial product with a return rate of 18% and an investment period of 3 years."

This product offers a 3% higher return than what our staff recommended to you. Are you satisfied with this outcome?

The customers depositing their money were dumbfounded. "Are you fucking kidding me?! I called you here to complain about this idiot who can't understand human language! You're talking to me about financial management??"

The goblin manager calmly explained, "Sir, he is a junior teller and can only recommend our bank's Level III investment products to you. I am the manager, and I can recommend Level II wealth management products to you."

customer:"!&……%@%!"

Li Aili: "..."

She leaned closer to Arthur and whispered, "Does this bank have no competitors?"

Arthur said, "Only goblins can open banks all over the world."

Tommy, emboldened, chimed in, "That's right, only our company can withdraw money from anywhere in the world without any problems."

It's like this: however many gold coins you deposit in country A, you can withdraw that same amount of gold coins in country B, country C, and so on, wherever there's a goblin bank.

"In short, you won't find another bank as powerful as our Goblin Bank in the whole world!"

Li Aili nodded knowingly, "No wonder."

“What I’m saying is, if you had even one competitor, you wouldn’t dare treat depositors like this.”

Tommy: "…………"

"But to run a bank like this, it takes real skill from the goblins," she remarked.

In a world teeming with giants and dragons, how difficult must it be for a weak goblin to run a bank?

Who would have thought that such a small, harmless goblin could actually...

Arthur ruthlessly revealed the truth: "That was filled with the lives of goblins."

As everyone knows, goblins are prolific, but their lives are cheap.

A goblin can have at least two or three hundred children in his lifetime. Once a goblin reaches the age of 10, he becomes an adult and can get married and have children again.
