Immediately, Li Aili and the Duke were moved to the VIP reception room on the top floor.
The goblins managed to decorate a reception room like a palace.
The goblins are determined to make sure their customers can spend their money freely and happily in the most comfortable environment—or rather, keep it with them.
The coffee table in front of the sofa was filled with a dazzling array of desserts, the main theme of which was 'expensive'.
Elf's Royal Yellow Butter Cookies (137 gold/box), Elf's Cream Puffs, Elf's Crown Mini Cakes...
Li Aili: "..."
She had been to Tankar several times but had never seen a single cow. She wondered if the ingredients for these luxury delicacies were the elves' trade secrets.
After Tommy left the room, the Duke said in a low voice, "I don't want to keep my gold coins here with the goblins."
Li Aili looked at him in surprise, "I didn't tell you to store the gold coins here."
The Duke hesitated and asked, "What...what was that multi-million dollar project you just mentioned?"
Li Aili: "Teach them how to effectively collect debts and fundamentally eliminate bad debts. If we can't help them avoid losses of hundreds of millions of yuan this year?"
Duke: "…………"
Li Aili asked, bewildered, "Isn't this a huge project involving hundreds of millions?"
Duke: "…………"
With a 'click,' the door to the VIP reception room opened, and the branch manager of the goblin branch walked in with a fawning smile on his face.
"Oh! Isn't this Duke Cold Emerald of the Kingdom of Clark?" the goblin rubbed his hands together.
The goblin bank manager was acting so familiarly that Li Aili couldn't help but whisper to Arthur beside her, "Do you know the bank manager here?"
Arthur replied expressionlessly, "Trust me, darling. In five minutes, he won't be like this anymore."
“I am the branch manager of Denton branch, my name is Ruby Moneybag.”
Before Li Aili could speak, he eagerly asked Duke Cold Emerald, "You mentioned a huge business deal worth hundreds of millions. Does that mean you've finally decided to deposit the enormous amount of gold coins from your castle with our goblin bank?"
Arthur replied expressionlessly, "No."
Li Aili: "..."
Ruby Moneybags' expression froze for a moment, then widened into a brighter smile. "Oh! So you're planning to borrow money from us?"
“You are a very valuable customer. With such a large amount of gold coins, I am willing to offer you a lower interest rate.”
He got up and quietly locked the door to the reception room.
Ruby Moneybag sneaked back. "Of course, we can discuss this privately. You see, I'll lend you the gold coins, and I won't interfere with what you do with them. But you'll have to give me a one-thousandth commission later."
"The advantage of this is that when I do some private maneuvering and report to the head office, I can help you describe some of the more obvious risks as being lower."
Li Aili, the Duke: "…………"
Li Aili couldn't help but admire that the goblin bank manager's surname was truly fitting.
“No, we’re not here to borrow money.” Li Aili smiled slightly, shattering the bank manager’s dream of getting rich overnight.
Ruby Moneybag looked bewildered, then put on a fawning smile, "Oh, so you must be here to buy our financial products."
"Don't worry, I will definitely do my best for you..."
"No, no, no, we're not here to buy financial products."
Ruby Moneybags Manager: "..."
He then performed a 'smile disappearing act' on the spot.
A pair of sharp eyes stared at Li Aili and Arthur as if they were the enemies who had killed their parents.
"Then what are you doing here?! Wasting my time?! Do you know how much money I can earn in a minute?!"
He jumped up from the stool, nearly hitting the Duke's knee.
The goblin scurried up the table leg and onto the coffee table.
There's a raised button in an inconspicuous corner of the coffee table.
President Ruby slapped the button.
The next second, a large group of fully armed thugs rushed in.
Li Aili: "..."
The Duke had anticipated this.
He calmly stood up from the sofa, holding his walking stick as if he were wielding a knight's sword.
“Honey, step back a bit.”
Three minutes later.
The Duke raised his foot and kicked the unconscious, one-eyed ogre, who was as big as a small mountain, out of the room.
Then, with a 'bang,' the door was locked from the inside.
Ruby Moneybag, her face bruised and swollen, sat blankly on a small stool, questioning the meaning of life.
Li Aili poured him a cup of hot tea and handed it to him warmly, saying, "Here, have some tea. Now you have the patience to listen to me slowly explain things to you, right?"
Ruby Moneybag reached out her trembling hand and took the teacup.
Li Aili said, "Let me think, where should we start..."
"First, I need to understand your..."
Before he could finish speaking, a loud bang was heard, and the door to the reception room, which had just been locked, was kicked open.
"Who dares to cause trouble on my turf?" The person who entered had fiery red curly hair, a tall stature, and was dragging a super-large knight's greatsword.
Upon seeing the intruders, the goblin's beady eyes crinkled into 'fried eggs' from crying. "Lord, Lord!! It's them! They're messing with me on your turf!! Help me teach them a lesson..."
President Ruby hadn't finished speaking.
Then Lord Denton took a step forward and rushed to Li Aili, who looked completely bewildered.
"Ah! Could it be that you are?!"
