Forget about me.

Victoria's expression was blank.

Albert looked away, avoiding her gaze.

"Alright. If there's nothing else, you can leave now."

"I still have political affairs to attend to."

Victoria left the study like a wooden doll, completely dazed.

Albert strode to the desk and opened the drawer.

Gilmanoa, with a magnificent gemstone ring hanging on its front paw.

"Look! What I found!"

Albert, expressionless, reached out and pried the ring off its paw.

"Tsk! Are you planning to propose to that shapeshifter?"

Albert shoved the gemstone ring back into the ring box and slammed the drawer shut.

Luckily, Gilmanoah flew fast, otherwise his neck would have been broken.

"The result... hehehe~" He chuckled and looked at the drawer.

Albert looked at his dragon with a blank expression.

Gilmanoa immediately stopped grinning.

Every time he saw Albert's expression, he knew that if he didn't restrain himself, he would suffer the consequences.

"Um. May I ask when you bought this ring behind my back?"

The young dragon asked in a strange, disgusting tone.

Albert walked back to the desk and picked up the quill pen again.

Just when Gilmanoa thought he wouldn't answer.

He said softly, "The day before the Dragon God decided to abandon this country."

That day, he planned to propose.
