Chapter Thirty-Two: Recruiting Thieves

“The quantity of the first batch of magic crystals is correct,” Serena said to a haughty floating island merchant.

The man simply nodded.

When he saw Li Aili's face, his eyes showed a look of 'amazement'.

He walked up to Li Aili and proudly handed her a business card.

Li Aili's mind was filled with the exorbitant price of the Crystal Castle, with its long string of zeros.

Upon seeing the business card, her immediate response was, "Thank you, but I don't need any products at the moment."

The arrogant floating island merchant: "???"

Selena understood what was going on and couldn't help but laugh, "Pfft!"

Then, the wealthy businessman, his face flushed with embarrassment, put away his business card and stormed off.

If Li Aili had looked up and taken a closer look at the 'broken love' bubble above the businessman's head...

Everyone can understand what's going on.

"Wait! Serena, I didn't mean to talk about the castle..."

Selena immediately replied, "Ah! The castle and all that are free. For details, you should ask our Emperor!"

Li Aili: "???" Why didn't Fisheronaki mention this when they met earlier?

Selena quickly pulled out her pocket watch. "Ah! It's so late! I refuse to work overtime!"

The elf designer hurriedly mounted his horse and fled Emerald Valley as if escaping.

After finishing their work, the goblins packed their little bundles and jumped down into the burrow in an orderly fashion.

In the end, only a large pile of sparkling magic crystals remained.

Li Aili: "..." Can anyone tell her what's going on?

The magic crystal shimmered with dazzling iridescent light in the afterglow of the setting sun.

Edward and Joanna came out to greet Ellie.

Joanna: "Your Highness, dinner is ready."

Edward's main concern was the magic crystal that had been placed there.

"Your Highness, these crystals are too precious. Was it inappropriate for them to be here just now?"

Li Aili asked, her head throbbing with worry, "Then what do you suggest we do?"

Indeed, if things weren't cleared up and these crystals were lost, she would be devastated.

Edward slapped his forehead and had a brilliant idea. "I've got it! Don't we have pumpkins?"

...

That night, several burglars, skilled in pickpocketing, ransacked the mansions of several wealthy merchants in the outer city of Denton.

Passing through Emerald Valley, we saw a huge pile of magic crystals in a giant pumpkin patch.

"Damn! Whose idiot is this?! Throwing so many magic crystals into the pumpkin patch?!"
