Chapter 125 The protagonist of this adventure story is not me.

Linda looked surprised.

"I'll use your bathroom." When she said "use," Leah's expression was unnatural and her tone was cold and hard.

Linda nodded: "I will prepare an extra slip."

There were 27 buyers in the living room. He, Monica, and Kaphni made 27 simple paper tags together. Since there was one extra, they needed to add another paper tag.

"Didn't you understand what I meant?"

Leah took a deep breath and said, "I want you to sell me that bottle of potion."

"Why?" Linda frowned in confusion, as this seemed to offer no benefit whatsoever.

Leah gritted her teeth and took out her savings card: "There are 200,000 gold coins in here."

Before setting off, Lia had considered the predicament and borrowed 50,000 gold coins from each team member in advance.

"Hey, this is unfair competition!"

Mindy, the captain of the coyotes, couldn't sit still any longer. His face darkened, and he said:

“200,000 gold coins is something my Coyote Adventurer Team can afford. Miss Leah, if you want it, I think you should draw lots like everyone else. That would be fair to everyone.”

fair?

Lia clenched her little fists. She used to be Linda's captain, so it was normal for her to receive preferential treatment, right?

Linda didn't answer, but Kaphni snorted: "You have no manners at all when asking for help. Isn't it common sense to take out the panda and show it to people before asking for help?"

I've been reading a lot of doujinshi lately, and my head is completely foggy.

Are you humiliating me?

"Stop arguing."

Linda placed a cardboard box used as a lottery box on the table: "Whoever draws it keeps it."

This gesture won the favor of everyone present.

If Linda really sells the potion to Liya, they may not say it, but they will inevitably feel resentful.

When Linda made her stance clear, the many adventurers in the room no longer had any reservations about Lia, and their dissatisfaction was evident on their faces.

You kicked Linda out, and you still have the nerve to come here and monopolize the potion? You're so shameless!

Although no one said it aloud, their unspoken thoughts were written all over their faces.

Leah was seething with anger inside; this silent neglect was the most unbearable.

She wanted to fight someone, but didn't know who to fight.

Moreover, standing opposite her was a group of adventurers from a Rock-level squad!

Leah felt that these people were like a bunch of hateful goblins, all putting pressure on her. The only 'human,' Linda, wasn't on her side either, but instead blended in with the goblins. And they were the largest, leader-level, magnificent goblins.

In plain terms, Leah was isolated, just like the unsociable student in the class.

With a dark expression, she joined the long queue, becoming just another ordinary member of the small house, no different from the other adventurers who came to buy.

Linda doesn't receive any special treatment these days.

When it was Leah's turn to draw lots, she looked up at Linda.

Leah herself didn't know what she was waiting for; perhaps subconsciously, she wanted some proof that she was different from others.

She is different from ordinary adventurers.

Even if Linda hates and despises her, that's fine.

However,

Linda didn't say anything, she just looked at her calmly.

Davin's voice suddenly appeared in Leah's ear:

Even if I'm forgotten, is that okay?

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Leah's lips moved slightly.

'I'll kick Phyllis out, come back.'

The words of reconciliation were left unsaid, turning into a soft hum.

She took the slip of paper from the lottery box and walked to the side.

Her hand, clutching the crumpled paper, trembled slightly. Leah wasn't sure if she was relieved she hadn't said anything foolish, or disappointed in herself for lacking the courage to speak up.

"Everyone, please open them," Linda said.

"—Yay, I won!"

A short-haired elf boy jumped up excitedly.

Lia stared at the man in astonishment.

The crumpled paper in her hand hadn't even been unfolded yet.

Lady Luck wasn't on her side.

She is not the protagonist in this adventure story.

Leah slowly crumpled the paper into a fist and put it in her pocket.

The winning elf boy is named Brunei, a level 20 archer.

Brunei paid 100,000 gold coins to obtain the last bottle of magic potion.

Brunei happily left with the magic potion, while the others sighed helplessly and gradually dispersed.

Adventurers passed by Leah like a flowing tide, while she stood there like a stake, bewildered and helpless.

As the adventurers passed by Lia, their shoulders inevitably bumped against each other. Although Lia didn't move, her body was jostled around, and some of them showed obvious displeasure on their faces, annoyed that she was blocking the way.

Through the crowd, Leah looked toward Linda inside the house.

The girl pursed her lips, her gaze vulnerable, as if seeking help.
