Chapter 125 The protagonist of this adventure story is not me.

"Mr. Gale, welcome."

Linda greeted him with a smile.

Even knowing the other party had a bad reputation, he still had to greet this star-ranked adventurer separately.

"Linda, I have high hopes for you! You might just be the next leader of an Iron-level adventurer team!"

Gail warmly put his arm around Gail's shoulder, winked, and said, "You understand why I came here, right? The White Dove Adventurers won't let you suffer any losses. One bottle of potion is worth 100,000 gold, and I'll personally owe you a favor. How about it?"

A favor from a Star-Rank Adventurer... Linda had no reason to refuse. Selling to anyone was the same as selling to someone else, so why not sell to the White Dove Adventurers?

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Linda took out three bottles of silver magic potion, handing one to Gale and one to Isa.

"Hey, thanks!" Gail raised an eyebrow and placed the potion in front of a white circular ring on his finger.

On the ring was a transparent space magic gem. It flashed with light, and the potion disappeared and was stored in the ring.

Linda's eyes burned slightly.

A spatial ring, the 'Rolex' of another world, even the cheapest one costs 100,000 gold.

Then, the two of them took out their savings cards, put them together, and Gail operated them on the miniature magic screen.

"100,000 gold coins have been spent, so I won't bother you anymore. There's still one bottle left, so take your time competing and don't rush."

Gale looked at the male adventurers with an air of superiority, a stark contrast to his attitude towards the women.

He wanted to say hello to Davin's younger sister again, but after looking around and not finding her, Gail shook his head, waved, and left the rented house.

Isa also received a bottle of potion, thanked them softly, and stood quietly to one side.

At this moment, only one bottle of Metal Destroyer remained, and all the adventurers in the room tensed up.

I wonder who will get Linda's last bottle.

...

The rented room was so small that there wasn't even enough room to stand, so Leah used this as an excuse to escape from the living room to the bathroom.

She knows the layout of every room here and can tell you the origin of every piece of old furniture.

Walking in this place that is full of memories, Lia seemed to have become a different person, like a quiet girl, and much of her flames had been extinguished.

Her fingertips brushed against the slightly yellowed sink, and she couldn't help but recall the scene of her and Lin Da's sister, Lin Xi, fighting for their spot.

Both of them are warrior-type damage dealers and often joke around. Among all the team members, she and Lin Xi have the best relationship.

Leah stared blankly at the mirror glued to the sink, which reflected a hooded girl with a furrowed brow and a lingering gloom on her face.

After returning from Red Peach City, Lia was so engrossed in her cultivation that she hadn't looked in a mirror for several days. When she suddenly looked at herself, she was startled: the disheveled person was actually herself?

How did I become like this?

Lia patted her face hard, rubbed her cheeks, and muttered to herself, "Things will get better. Once the Snow Goose Adventure Team rises up, they'll all be speechless."

As the Phoenix Flower unfolds its splendor, the Clown Captain seems to have taken its place in the title of "Blazing Flames."

Leah desperately needed to do something to prove herself.

If everyone around her is negating her, and even she herself is negating herself, her mentality will probably collapse. She won't even have the courage to survive, let alone be an adventurer.

Born out of wedlock and raised in the slums, Leah has made it this far with her sheer stubbornness. She firmly believes that she is like a sharp sword, capable of cutting through all difficulties and obstacles.

Leah washed her face and felt much better.

Just as she was about to leave to make a deal with Linda, she caught a glimpse of a few lines of large characters engraved in the dust on the yellowed wall beside the mirror.

The handwriting is crooked and messy, like that of an elementary school student.

Three years ago, Xueyan and her friends gathered together, laughing and joking, and wrote down their dreams on the wall.

The top line reads: 'Become the strongest adventurer team in White Dove City!'

Lia stared blankly for a long time.

Then I noticed the small print at the very bottom: 'Safely reached the summit of the World Tree.'

Suddenly I understood.

Neither she nor Linda have changed; they simply never truly understood each other from the very beginning.

Her conviction and fighting spirit burned like a flame, while Linda remained a silent, stagnant figure, as still as a pool of still water.

...

"The last magic potion is mine, Flame Bloom."

After Gail left, a new eye-catching bag appeared.

Lia took off the hood she used to hide herself, raised her head with a dashing air, revealing a fair and tender face full of collagen, and pupils in her large eyes that resembled crimson gems.

Before she jumped out, the group was discussing drawing lots to decide the buyer of the last bottle of Metal Destroyer.

Leah's assertive declaration offended everyone present.

Mindy is the captain of the Coyote Adventurer Team, a level 24 swordsman adventurer. Mindy stared at Leah with an unfriendly expression, then glanced at Linda. Seeing that Linda didn't say anything, he swallowed back his harsh words.

Although rumors of a breakdown in Linda and Leah's relationship were rampant, no one could be sure what the truth was.

If there's still a past relationship between the two, anyone who jumps out to criticize Leah would be offending Linda.

As the captain of the Phoenix Flower team, Linda is a rising star, and even though many of the people present are adventurers of level 20 or above, they are unwilling to offend her easily.

Everyone was silently waiting for Linda to make her statement.

"You're here too? Why didn't I see you earlier?"
