Chapter 276 Killing the Ghostly Vice-Commander, Linda Demands Compensation

The pressure this level 33 berserker put on Linda was far greater than that of the outwardly strong but inwardly weak, paper tiger-like Kam.

The power of the Star Rank swept across, and the surrounding gravity suddenly increased several hundred times.

The royal sword in Linda's hand fell to the ground with a thud, and her feet sank into the bluestone bricks of the arena.

He dared not be careless and quickly replenished himself with a new Azure Shield.

These old bastards have no sportsmanship at all, sending a level 33 berserker to ambush me, a level 26 support!

The audience quickly realized what was happening.

The two Star-Rank members of the Phoenix Flower team immediately lost their temper!

Tasia's face was frosty, and a murderous aura rolled in her emerald green eyes.

A black briefcase appeared out of thin air and quickly assembled into a magic cannon like a Gatling gun.

Wind-based battle aura entered the interior along the intricate magic array. Tasia, wielding a magic cannon, unleashed a hail of battle aura bullets as the honeycomb-shaped barrel glowed.

Lulu's hands transformed into ferocious beast claws, shooting towards the arena like arrows, unleashing a 'Frosty Wolf Iron Claw' attack on Nacho!

Nacho never expected the people of the Phoenix Flower to react so quickly. He barely managed to catch Lulu's attack with his double-edged axe, his feet scraping the ground as he was pushed eight meters away.

The berserker was startled: judging from her aura, the werewolf girl was much weaker than him, only around level 31. But her strength was about the same as his.

Before he could think it through, a hail of bullets rained down from the magic cannon. Nacho used his life barrier to withstand the attack, but the barrage of bullets struck the barrier, causing it to shake violently. Nacho coughed up blood.

The barrier connects to the adventurer's vital core, and each time it is damaged, it will inflict harm on Nacho.

Lulu pressed her advantage, her cold eyes reflecting Nacho's terrified expression. She raised her claws, aiming for Nacho's neck.

At this moment, Nacho was both shocked and angry. He was shocked because these two Star-Rank experts were so powerful that he wasn't confident he could defeat either of them. He was angry, however...

He only glanced at Linda, while Lulu and Tasia both looked like they wanted to kill him!

This can't be serious!

The members of the Adventurers' Guild seemed to have turned a blind eye, failing to stop Lulu and her friends from attacking Nacho.

Nacho broke the rules first, so he deserved to be retaliated against by the Phoenix Flower people.

Within seconds, Tasia and Lulu had forced Nacho to retreat repeatedly. The burly man's chest was covered in vomited blood, and his eyes were filled with terror.

Clearly, Tasia and Lulu's strength far exceeded Nacho's expectations!

From Linda's perspective, the berserker had lost about 8,000 health.

He looks quite energetic, no wonder he's from the class of '33.

"Stop!"

Rhodes, the leader of the Rock Legion, couldn't stand it any longer. With a low roar, his nearly 300-pound body shot into the center of the arena like a cannonball.

"The outcome of this duel is already decided; I request that it be stopped!"

Rhodes lived up to his status as a Steel-class captain, his formidable combat power directly blocking Lulu's attack. With a fierce swing of his right arm, Lulu spun around in the air, hugging her knees, several times before finally dissipating the impact and landing on the ground.

'This person is stronger than me.'

A hint of seriousness flashed in Lulu's eyes.

The members of Ghost and Rock also came up to the stage.

Ebernar frowned and led Gale and Kit onto the stage.

The arena was thick with tension, and what was supposed to be an ordinary duel had escalated into a contest between three top-tier adventurer groups!

The staff knew what was important; a full-blown civil war was something the White Dove City authorities definitely didn't want to see. She coughed and said:

"A surrender requires the person to utter the surrender statement. Also, regarding the Ghost's interference in the duel, appropriate punishment will be imposed."

Linda's eyes darkened upon hearing this. How could she let Kam admit defeat?

His plan was to kill Cam!

Linda will not leave any survivors who dare to attack the Phoenix Tail Flower.

To be merciful to the enemy is to be cruel to oneself.

His mind raced, searching for a way to kill Cam.

When Rod saw Linda's indifferent expression, he knew something was wrong.

This young adventurer was only level 26, yet he posed a greater threat to Rhodes than many star-ranked adventurers.

"Kam, quick, admit defeat!"

Don't give that Linda a chance.

Rod thought anxiously.

He turned back and urged Cam on.

The scene before him caused Rhodes's expression to change.

Kam's eyes were filled with hatred, and the flesh on his face trembled wildly with anger.

"How dare a mere ant hurt me? You bastard, you bastard...!"

"Linda, I want you dead!"

Kam charged toward Linda with a furious rage. At this moment, Kam held nothing back. His level 30 Star Rank aura erupted completely. He gripped the longsword in his left hand, and his magic circuits were running at full speed. His entire body was engulfed in black flames.

Rhodes stared at Kam in astonishment. That was Kam's ultimate move, [Demon Slash].

Imperial law explicitly states that adventurers may not use ultimate moves in duels, as ultimate moves deal extremely high damage and will result in either death or serious injury. All ultimate moves should be used against monsters.

Unleashing a deadly technique in full view of the public within the city is tantamount to defying imperial law.

Even if Moon-rank and Light-rank adventurers came, they couldn't save Kam from going completely insane!

'This idiot!'

Rhodes was furious and reached out to stop Cam.

But to my surprise, Gail beat me to it.

A gust of wind magic blew Rhodes away, forcing the irrational Kam to attack Linda.

Actually, when Cam rushed out, he was filled with regret.

He was blocked by Rhodes and his group, so he didn't see how many Star Rank figures were standing next to Linda.

Among them is Alberta, the strongest fighter in White Dove City, at level 39 with the [Mind's Eye] skill.
