Li Ao agreed with Han Jun's words and nodded seriously.
"Are you going back home to live?" Han Jun asked Li Ao.
Li Ao pointed at the car in the distance.
The car that picked him up was parked outside the school.
At this time, Han Miao suddenly said, "Are you going back to take a nap? I heard from Dad that Uncle Li moved back to the cafe. The cafe is far from our school, and it takes half an hour to drive there. You won't be able to rest if you go back and forth."
Han Miao added, "You're in the growth phase now. Look at you. You're older than us and shorter than my sister. You must be getting less sleep. How about you come to my house to rest at noon? Butler Yan is not at home during the day, so you can sleep in his bed."
Li Ao wanted to refuse, but the words "bigger than us and shorter than my sister" touched his sensitive heart. Every boy doesn't want to grow taller, and Li Ao is no exception.
Han Jun saw that Li Ao's mind was wavering, so she also said, "Let's go to our house."
Li Ao finally agreed.
Li Ao nodded to the driver in the distance. The driver understood what Li Ao meant and drove away silently. Li Ao took out his cell phone and sent a text message to Li Li, informing him that he would go to Han Miao's house to rest at noon.
Li Li was cutting some fruit, planning to chill it and wait for Li Ao to come home from school. Li Li was very happy when she received this message.
He thought that since Li Ao was willing to go to Han Miao's house for lunch, it meant that Li Ao was not opposed to being friends with Han Miao and Han Jun.
Having friends might change Li Ao's attitude towards his condition.
Li Li felt that this was a great progress and could not help but send a text message to share this with Su Beibei. When Su Beibei received the text message, she immediately became happy and regretted not bringing Li Ao back to China earlier.
...
This was the first time that Li Ao visited the home of someone his own age. When he entered the house, he saw Han Miao and Han Jun wearing slippers, so he took off his sneakers as well.
Han Miao found a pair of Han Zheng's slippers and threw them to Li Ao. Li Ao tried them on and found they were a little small, and his heels touched the wooden floor.
Han Miao saw it and said, "I'll buy you a new pair of slippers tonight." She planned to spend noon with Li Ao every day.
Han Miao looked up and asked Li Ao: "What color do you like?"
Li Ao subconsciously picked up his phone to type, but Han Miao stretched out his hand and said to him, "Write on my palm."
Li Ao stared at her fleshy hands for a moment.
Li Ao, who had no experience in physical contact with girls, could not accept this way of communication. In the end, he typed two words on his mobile phone - blue.
Han Miao wiped his hands and muttered, "Silly boy, you don't even know how to take advantage of others. You're so stupid, you'll never find a girlfriend. Do you know how many boys in the school want to hold my hand? The line would stretch all the way to the city center!"
She raised her hands above her head and shook them, saying narcissistically, "Don't you think about it? My hands are meant to touch the piano keys. Do they have the right to touch them?"
Han Jun handed Han Miao a glass of water and said, "Fairy, have a drink of water. You've been beeping all the way. Aren't you thirsty?"
Being disliked by her sister, Han Miao was very embarrassed. She turned around and stuck out her tongue at Li Ao, made a face at Han Jun's back, and complained to Li Ao: "She's not as pretty as me. She's jealous of my beauty and is deliberately saying things to irritate me."
Li Ao lowered his head and typed a line of words on his mobile phone, then handed it to Han Miao.
Han Miao quickly and enthusiastically leaned over to take a look, and when he saw Li Ao, he said, "Aren't you jealous of her intelligence?"
Han Miao glared at Li Ao and said, "You will lose your fiancée if you do this."
Li Ao is skeptical about the fact that Han Miao is his fiancée.
Li Ao did not go to Yan Qingxiu's room to rest. He felt that it was very impolite, so he offered to sleep on the sofa.
Han Miao didn't treat him as a stranger and let him sleep on the sofa. The room was equipped with central air conditioning, and the temperature in the whole room was very cool. Han Miao went back to the room and took out the air-conditioned quilt she was covering herself with, threw it on Li Ao's belly, and said, "Cover yourself tightly with the quilt, don't catch a cold."
After saying that, the girl returned to her room.
Li Ao covered himself with the quilt, and he could always smell the scent of milk shower gel. It was a scent he had never smelled before, and it smelled strange... nice.
Li Ao couldn't help but get closer and smell it twice, wanting to remember the smell and go back to the supermarket to buy a bottle of the same one.
Li Ao realized something was wrong again. He slowly looked up and saw Han Miao coming back with a pillow in his arms.
Han Miao was looking at him with a very awkward and shy expression.
Li Ao: "..."
Han Miao sat down at Li Ao's feet. She sighed in surprise and doubt, "Li Ao, why are you so hypocritical? You obviously like me very much, but you even secretly smell my quilt..." She blushed and looked at Li Ao, then said, "Were you also so awkward when you were a child? In fact, you thought I was cute when you were a child, right? You just refused to admit that you liked me, so you kept saying that I was fat..."
The narcissistic Han Miao has already imagined that Li Ao has liked her since childhood, but because of his awkward personality, he refused to admit the truth that he liked her.
Li Ao is a mute and has no way to defend himself.
Han Miao was certain that Li Ao liked her. She patted the pillow in her hand, acted like she understood the situation, and said, "Anyway, we're engaged, and we're going to sleep under the same quilt in the future. If you like to smell it, go ahead. I won't think you're a pervert."
Li Ao's face turned red. He stood up suddenly and crumpled the quilt into a ball and returned it to Han Miao.
Han Miao burst out laughing.
Li Ao looked at her in confusion.
"Look, you're being awkward again." Han Miao showed an 'I understand' expression. She stuffed the pillow and air-conditioning quilt into Li Ao's arms and said with a smile, "They're all yours. Sleep well and try to grow taller."
