Han Jun is not actually nearsighted. She just doesn't like being stared at as a beauty, so she wears a pair of ugly and large glasses without prescription on her face.
Han Miao jumped up and waved at Han Jun, shouting, "Junjun! Han Jun! Sister is here!"
Han Jun stared at her sister who was a head shorter than her. She walked up to Han Miao with an expressionless face.
Staring at Han Miao's eyes, which were as bright as a pug's, Han Jun immediately guessed a possibility and asked with understanding, "Did you forget to bring your meal card? Or is there no money on it?"
"I really forgot to bring it!" Han Miao hugged Han Jun's arm and said, "Please treat me to a meal. After school this afternoon, I'll treat you to Haagen-Dazs."
Han Jun loves nothing more than ice cream. When she was little, the two sisters would often fight over a bite of ice cream.
Han Jun agreed reluctantly.
Junior high school classes ended earlier, so by the time the two sisters reached the cafeteria, Han Zheng had almost finished. Han Miao and Han Jun carried their plates to Han Zheng's table. Han Zheng ate a few bites of his food, stood up, holding his basketball, and said to his two sisters, "I'll play for twenty minutes and then I'll be back."
"It's so hot, aren't you afraid of getting tanned like an African?" Han Miao scolded him every day.
Han Zheng said, "Playing basketball makes you taller!" Some of the boys in the class were already trying to grow taller, but Han Zheng, only about 5'6", was a little worried. His father was nearly 5'9", and if he was too short, he would be ashamed to face the Han family ancestors.
"Let's go!" Han Zheng ran away with the basketball bag.
Han Miao stared at Han Zheng's back and asked Han Jun in a low voice: "Junjun, do you think I can grow a few more centimeters?"
Han Jun reminded Han Miao: "In a few months you will be 17 years old, so it's basically impossible."
"Then why are you so tall?"
They were born on the same day, so there's no reason why there's such a huge difference in height between them.
Han Jun put down his chopsticks, took out a heart-to-heart tissue and wiped his mouth, then took one out and gave it to Han Miao, summarizing: "Although we are both growing, I grow vertically after eating, and you grow horizontally after eating."
Han Miao's face suddenly darkened, "Han Jun!"
Han Jun ignored Han Miao's rage and got up and left.
Han Miao ate a few mouthfuls of food and hurried after her. She hit Han Jun's waist with her head from behind, and Han Jun, as if he had eyes behind him, suddenly stretched his right hand holding the pen behind his waist, with the tip of the pen facing Han Miao.
Han Miao quickly stopped to prevent his forehead from being pierced by the pen tip.
"Han Jun! Are you jealous of my beauty and want to kill me?"
Han Jun turned his back to Han Miao and waved his hand, saying without any emotion: "I never envy a mentally retarded person."
"Han Jun!"
Han Miao yelled and chased after her. The two sisters were pulling each other as they walked towards the school gate. When they were almost there, they saw Li Ao.
Han Miao quickly grabbed Han Jun's arm, pointed at Li Ao's back and asked, "Is he handsome?"
Han Jun stared at the boy's back and said, "He's so short and thin, I don't like him." Han Jun likes guys who are taller and stronger than her. Han Jun can't appreciate a melancholy boy like Li Ao.
Han Miao rolled his eyes. "You have no taste. That's Uncle Li's son, Li Ao."
Han Jun slowed down his pace.
She looked at Li Ao's back, and thinking of what her parents had said about what happened to Li Ao, she understood why the boy was so thin.
"Li Ao!" Han Miao shouted loudly to the young man in front of him.
When the young man heard Han Miao's voice, he hesitated for a few seconds before turning around to look at the person behind him, his eyes filled with strong vigilance and indifference.
When Li Ao saw Han Jun standing next to Han Miao, he guessed the identities of the sisters.
His mom and dad had mentioned to him that the three children from Uncle Han's family were also studying in this school. Uncle Han's eldest daughter was Han Miao and the second daughter was Han Jun, and they were twins.
It seems that they are Uncle Han's daughters.
It was said that they had known each other since they were in diapers and breastfeeding. This knowledge made Li Ao less wary of the Han Miao sisters.
He was not used to interacting with strangers and didn't know how to interact with people, so he nodded slightly to indicate that he heard Han Miao's call.
Han Miao shook off Han Jun and ran to Li Ao. She smiled and said, "Your name is Li Ao, so is your English name Neil?"
Li Ao nodded.
Their parents have a close relationship, so it's normal for Han Miao to know his English name.
Han Miao then said, "My name is Han Miao. Do you know what my English name is?"
Li Ao shook his head slightly.
Han Miao blinked his eyes and opened his mouth to call out, "Miao~" It was a cat's meow, the meow of a kitten.
A rare strange expression appeared on Li Ao's face.
Han Miao smiled and said, "Your name is Li Ao, English name Neil. My name is Han Miao, English name Miao. We are a perfect match!" Han Miao suddenly patted Li Ao's arm and said, "Did you know that we are engaged? Your mother arranged a marriage for us when you were very young."
An impossible expression appeared on Li Ao's face.
Han Miao continued to deceive Li Ao. She said, "Really? If I lie, I will be struck by lightning!" Han Miao raised two fingers and looked at the sun above her head. She waited for two seconds. There was no wind, rain or thunder. She winked at Li Ao and said, "See, there was no lightning, which proves that what I said is true."
Li Ao looked at Han Miao with an increasingly strange look. He felt that Uncle Han’s eldest daughter might have some mental problems.
Bai has such a cute face.
Han Jun felt embarrassed. She pressed Han Miao's hand down and said to Li Li, "Li Ao, my sister isn't very smart. You just have to get used to it."
