Chapter 37 He Became Goods

A muffled groan was heard inside the car, followed by a strange smell.

Li Ze, who was fast asleep, frowned, looking as if he was about to wake up. The driver was startled and quickly turned on the ventilation system, wiped himself down briefly, and hurriedly put on his pants.

Once the air inside the car was fresh again, Li Ze's furrowed brows relaxed, and he continued to sleep.

call--

The driver secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

The car continued driving, and the driver, having relieved himself, yawned, reclined his seat slightly, and fell asleep with his head tilted to the side.

He slept soundly without any dreams, and when it was broad daylight outside, Li Ze opened his eyes.

"Oh, you're awake?" the driver greeted with a smile.

Li Ze nodded and said, "Let's find a place to stop."

"Okay, sure." The driver readily agreed and immediately took control of the flying car to land. He had been circling around this area for half an hour. This was the place where he would "deliver" the goods.

Li Ze was unaware that he had become the driver's cargo. He got out of the car, and the driver got out as well. The driver smiled kindly and said, "There's food inside. Are you hungry? I'll take you to have breakfast."

A dark glint flashed in Li Ze's clear black and white eyes. He looked up at the spot the driver was pointing to—an unremarkable building that looked no different from the others. However, the concentration of malevolent energy around this building was nearly a hundred times stronger than in other places, highlighting its unusual nature.

What exactly is that place?

Li Ze calmly observed the driver, already suspecting his motives.

The driver felt uneasy under his gaze. "What's wrong? Aren't you hungry? It's okay if you're not hungry, there are places to stay inside. We have everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment."

Li Ze raised an eyebrow. So, he's determined to lure me in today?

Li Ze was curious what the driver would do if he didn't go in. However, before the driver could do anything, several tall men came out and surrounded him on the street, saying in an unyielding tone, "Our boss wants to see you."

Then the man looked at the driver and said, "You can go and collect your bonus from Brother Kun now."

The driver looked at Li Ze with reluctance, turning back every few steps as he drove away.

"Are you going to come in with us obediently, or are we going to drag you in?" The men glanced at Li Ze sideways, not taking him seriously.

Li Ze glanced at them indifferently and walked towards the gate first.

"Oh, so obedient?" The men were somewhat surprised.

"I even want him to resist violently so I can take the opportunity to grope him and touch his pretty face."

"Your idea is a bit dangerous. Be careful, or the boss might cut off your two ounces of meat."

"Oh, I was just saying, just saying. The boss hasn't even started yet, how could I dare?"

"Don't you guys think he looks familiar?"

Now that you mention it, it does seem a bit true.

"......."

These people were talking loudly, as if they were afraid that Li Ze wouldn't hear them.

Seeing that Li Ze remained calm and showed no sign of panic, they couldn't help but feel somewhat disappointed.

Sigh, I really want to see that pretty face when it's panicked. Is it still as beautiful as before?

Upon entering the room, the concentration of malevolent energy increased several times over, and Li Ze even had the illusion that he had returned to the battlefield between humans and demons.

I miss it so much!

Li Ze did not absorb the evil energy immediately, but let it surround him, enjoying the feeling of being surrounded by the rich evil energy.

"This way," the man said, pointing the way for Li Ze.

Without hesitation, Li Ze followed the direction the man pointed out.

At this moment, they passed by a place with bright lights and bustling activity. Even at around 8 a.m., the people there were still howling and screaming, twisting their waists wildly, and some were even hugging each other, kissing passionately, and having sex on the spot.

That's an incredibly high level of energy.

But soon, Li Ze noticed something was wrong. These people looked strange; their eyes were glazed, and they were excessively excited and agitated.

Was it because he was drunk, or because he ate something he shouldn't have?

Watching this unfold, Li Ze silently channeled the malevolent energy into his body.

This place is not simple; he needs malevolent energy to enhance his strength.

"The boss is inside, go in yourself." The man stood at the door without moving.

Li Ze looked at the door in front of him, and without hesitation, pushed it open and went inside. After walking a few steps, Li Ze first saw a spacious hall, decorated in a magnificent and opulent style, so bright it was almost reflective.

On the other side of the hall, a man in a black bathrobe was having breakfast. Hearing the noise, he turned his head and looked at Li Ze.

A look of amazement flashed in the man's eyes, but he immediately frowned. "Li Ze? He Xingjue's partner?"

Li Ze hummed in agreement. "You're the one who wanted to see me?"

"I heard they've got a real gem here, so of course I had to see him. But what I didn't expect was that the gem would be you." The man stood up and walked towards Li Ze step by step.

Li Ze raised an eyebrow. "So, are you going to let me leave now?"

“Heh,” the man said as if he had heard a foolish joke, “No one who enters my place, except those I don’t want, has ever left unscathed. Even if that person is an imperial princess.”

"You've got quite the nerve," Li Ze said, sitting down on the sofa.

The man sat down beside him. "Did you come by yourself, or—"

"Or what? With He Xingjue?" Li Ze retorted. "You're not even afraid of the Imperial Princess, are you afraid of He Xingjue?"

The man's narrow eyes narrowed, a fierce glint flashing in them like a wild beast's. "Of course I'm not afraid of He Xingjue!"

"Master~"

A sweet, delicate voice came from the bedroom, and then a boy wearing a white shirt draped over his shoulder, revealing most of his shoulder, and with no clothes on his lower body, walked out.

The boy's body was covered in bruises, a testament to his madness the previous night.

"Who are you!" Upon seeing Li Ze on the sofa, the boy immediately bristled like a little beast.

Li Ze glanced at him indifferently and then looked away.

"I'm asking you a question, so speak up! Who are you?" The boy strode over, his round, deer-like eyes filled with anger.

Li Ze got up and left the sofa. "I'm going to get some breakfast outside first."

After saying that, Li Ze was about to walk outside.

"stop!"

The man and the boy said in unison.

"You can go out now," the man said to the boy, his tone impatient.

The boy gritted his teeth, and tears streamed down his face. "Don't you like me anymore? You said yesterday that I was your favorite."

The man's temple throbbed. "You go out first."

The boy hastily wiped away his tears, glared angrily at Li Ze, and walked barefoot outside.

"What is your purpose?" Li Ze asked. He had almost completely absorbed the malevolent energy here and had lost interest in the place.

"You haven't had breakfast yet, have you? Let's eat and talk," the man said.

Li Ze didn't refuse; he was indeed a little hungry.

"Let me introduce myself first. My name is Song Xiu, but everyone calls me Boss Song. You can call me Boss Song or just my name." Song Xiu pulled out a chair for Li Ze, and only returned to his own seat after Li Ze was seated.

Li Ze did not respond, but picked up his chopsticks and started eating before Song Xiu could speak.

This is what Song Xiu just ate; there shouldn't be any problem.
