Chapter 12 Even if I'm not good enough, I'm still better than Huo Zhizhou who cheated on me.
Seeing this, the housekeeper made a phone call to Huo Zhizhou.
"I'm only letting you name your price because you gave birth to Sui Sui." Mr. Huo's gaze was filled with intense pressure as he looked at her. "Since you're so ungrateful, there's no need to discuss it with you anymore."
Jiang Ruan said, "There's really no need to discuss this with me, because you have no right to decide this matter."
"What did you say?" Father Huo's aura suddenly turned somber.
“The divorce application has been submitted, and I will have custody of the child once the divorce certificate is issued.” Jiang Ruan’s body was tense as she said this, but there was no other way but to face the situation head-on. “If you try to take the child by force, I can call the police.”
Mr. and Mrs. Huo's faces immediately turned ugly.
If they hadn't taken this into account, how could they have come looking for her just because they heard a rumor?
Once the divorce certificate is issued, it's a done deal, and it's difficult to change it later.
"How could you be so selfish! You made him suffer and wander with you, did you even consider that he's still a child?" Mother Huo cursed.
“He has custody of me, not because his father died.” Jiang Ruan felt that besides being selfish, they were trying to manipulate her in every way. “I didn’t stop Huo Zhizhou from spending money on him.”
"In the end, you just want to use Sui Sui to make money, and you want Zhi Zhou to continue supporting you through this method." Huo's mother said viciously, "A scheming person like you doesn't deserve to be Sui Sui's mother at all."
"Even if I'm not good enough, I'm still better than Huo Zhizhou who cheated on me." Jiang Ruan didn't even want to offer a basic explanation.

“That’s why I’m taking Sui Sui with me when I leave you.” Jiang Ruan felt more and more that taking Sui Sui with her was the right decision. “Growing up in a family like yours with such shattered values, even if he has the right values, they will be led astray by you.”
"Say that again!" How could Mr. Huo allow Jiang Ruan, a canary kept by his son, to point fingers at him?

Mr. Huo's phone suddenly vibrated.

He glared at Jiang Ruan with displeasure, then switched the phone to speakerphone before saying, "Your call comes at the right time. Your mother and I have something to ask you."
"Is it true that Jiang Ruan has custody of Sui Sui?" Huo Zhizhou asked before they could even speak.
Mr. Huo glanced at Jiang Ruan and said, "Yes."
Huo Zhizhou: "I agree."
Upon hearing this, the air pressure in the room instantly dropped, and cold air rushed out of Mr. Huo's body, causing the surrounding air temperature to drop several degrees.
"If she wants to raise it, let her raise it," Huo Zhizhou said calmly, unaware that he was about to lose his temper again.
"Are you stupid?" Mrs. Huo was anxious. She couldn't just watch her grandson go with a stranger. "If Sui Sui goes with her, he won't be close to you anymore. What will you do when he calls someone else 'Dad'?"
“It’s certainly possible when he’s younger,” Huo Zhizhou said casually, “but it’s not certain when he grows up and learns about interests.”
"What do you mean?" Huo's mother didn't have his deep cunning.
