"Zhao Dayou?!"
When Li Rouniang heard from Da Ni that Zhao Dayou was sick, she didn't want to come. But Zhao Da Ni begged, "Mother, please, please go see Father. Father is so pitiful. Even though you can't live together anymore, he is still my father."
Li Rouniang, unable to resist Zhao Dani's pleas, had no choice but to bite the bullet and go.
"Rou Niang, you've come to see me." Zhao Dayou lay on the bed, looking weak and pitiful as he looked at Li Rou Niang.

"Zhao Dayou, get this straight, we're divorced and have nothing to do with each other anymore! Don't come looking for me again if you need anything!" Li Rouniang turned away coldly, not wanting to say another word to Zhao Dayou.
Zhao Dayou could no longer keep up the act, and the anger he had been suppressing finally erupted: "Li Rouniang, you bitch! How could you be so vicious! Is your heart made of stone? I've already done this much, and you still want to leave!"
"What do I care about you? Zhao Dayou, can't you keep up the act anymore?" Li Rouniang retorted sarcastically.
"What am I pretending for? Let me tell you, Li Rouniang, I, Zhao Dayou, intend to reconcile with you. It's your good fortune, don't be ungrateful!" Zhao Dayou raised his chin, speaking as if bestowing a favor.
"Keep this good fortune for yourself," Li Rouniang sneered, turning to leave.
How could Zhao Dayou possibly grant her wish?
He got up and chased after her, grabbing Li Rouniang's arm.
"Let go, Zhao Dayou, what are you trying to do?" Li Rouniang struggled.
"Since being gentle doesn't work, I'll have to resort to force. You bitch, you can't be coaxed, you want a beating, don't you?" Zhao Dayou said fiercely.
With that, he shoved Li Rouniang hard onto the bed and pounced on her, saying, "I'm going to teach you a lesson today!"
"Zhao Dayou, what are you doing? Let me go!" Li Rouniang struggled angrily as Zhao Dayou pinned her down!
"What am I doing? Don't you know?" Zhao Dayou tore open Li Rouniang's collar and bent down to kiss her!
Li Rouniang raised her knee and kicked Zhao Dayou, who fell off the bed in pain. Li Rouniang took the opportunity to sit up and jump off the bed, kicking him as she spoke:
"Zhao Dayou, I've had enough of your punches and kicks over the years!"
I've wanted to return it for a long time, but you divorced me. I figured since you're willing to give me the children, I won't care about the rest.
I never imagined you could be so shameless! I'll show you what it's like to be beaten to the ground!
"Ahhh! Li Rou Niang, you wicked woman, how dare you hit your husband so hard!" Zhao Dayou screamed in agony.
"Don't be shameless! Who's my husband? We're divorced! You hit me harder than I hit you back then. How can you not even bear this little bit of pain?" Li Rouniang sneered, kicking even harder. Images of Zhao Dayou beating her from both her past and present lives flashed through her mind, and tears welled up in her eyes involuntarily.
"Li Rongniang, hurry up and do it!" Zhao Dayou couldn't take it anymore.
"Fine, I can stop, but let me tell you, Zhao Dayou, stay away from me from now on. If you dare to have any more funny ideas, I'll skin you alive!" Li Rouniang said fiercely, her anger instantly dissipating. The man who had once terrified her was now lying there like a lump of mud, utterly insignificant!
"Okay, okay, I know, stop now," Zhao Dayou pleaded.
Li Rouniang straightened her clothes before leaving. The moment she turned away, tears streamed down her face. She said she didn't understand why she was crying; she was certain she had long since lost feelings for this man, but she couldn't control herself…
Zhao Dayou sat on the ground, covered in wounds, looking resentfully in the direction Li Rouniang had left: Li Rouniang, if you are heartless, don't blame me for being unjust.
"Mother, is Father's headache better?" Da Ni asked, confused, as she ran up to Li Rou Niang upon her return.
"Dani, Zhao Dayou and I are divorced and have no relationship anymore. Don't come looking for me anymore, okay?" Li Rouniang squatted down and looked at Zhao Dani earnestly.
Zhao Dani lowered her head, clutching the hem of her clothes, and whispered, "Okay." She felt extremely disappointed.
Li Rouniang patted Zhao Dani's head. She knew Dani was in a bad mood, but she was also feeling upset. Just as she was wondering how to comfort her, Erni ran over!
"Mom, are you going to marry Uncle Mo?" Erni dropped a bombshell as soon as she arrived!
"Who told you that?" Li Rouniang asked in surprise, and Zhao Dani also stared wide-eyed in disbelief!
"Grandpa Mo said so. Is it true, Mother?" Erni asked innocently. It was wonderful that her mother and master were getting married!
"Mother, are you going to marry Uncle Mo?" Zhao Dani asked, her heart filled with anger and sadness, a feeling she herself didn't understand.
"Da Ni, Er Ni, listen to your mother. Hmm~ If Mo Bei—and I mean if—were to become your new father, would you be willing or not?" Li Rou Niang asked awkwardly, her heart pounding with anxiety.
"Great! This is fantastic! Erni can't wait!" Erni clapped and cheered.
Da Ni looked at Er Ni with a complicated expression. It was as if her younger sister was a traitor!
"Da Ni, what about you?" Li Rou Niang felt relieved by Er Ni's reaction and couldn't help but smile.
"Hmm." Da Ni said softly, her heart filled with mixed feelings. But what good would it do if she objected? It was obvious that her mother and Er Ni were willing. What was the point of her objecting?
"Mother, when are you getting married? Will we be living together then?" Da Ni walked away silently, followed by Er Ni's chattering voice and Li Rou Niang's reply.
