Chapter Eight: A Day of Crazy Shopping

Li Rouniang couldn't help but chuckle; this person was truly amusing!

Li Rouniang took her two children to pawn silver pendants, and then bought them hair ornaments.

After that, we strolled around, and whenever we came across toys or snacks that children liked, we would stop and buy some.

She is making amends: making amends for the childhood her daughters missed and the suffering they endured in both their past and present lives.
