Chapter 33 Good Business Practices

Faced with Anle's outrageous demands, even a maid from a wealthy family, with impeccable manners and upbringing, couldn't help but swear!

Anjing stared blankly as the two haggled, and when the price finally reached five hundred coins, even the usually calm Anjing couldn't remain composed.

"Little sister, what are you doing? How come you're so young and already doing something like robbery?"

Hearing the word "robbery" slip out of Anjing's mouth, Anle's face darkened as well.

It's one thing for others to talk about her, but for her own sister to say the same thing about her? Is she that kind of person?

She trades fairly, asks for reasonable prices, is a good businessman, and has a clear conscience!

"Huh? What are you saying, ma'am? We're doing a transaction, this is business, understand?"

How can you call it robbery when it's a case of one party willing to give and the other willing to receive?

They didn't want my help, but she didn't have to. I didn't force her to give me those five hundred coins!

"This is all about mutual consent. I didn't hold a knife to their throats, so how could it be considered robbery?"

The soft, melodious voice of Du Ruoyun could be heard coming from inside the outhouse.

"Xiaoju, give her five hundred coins. If she can really solve this problem for me."

The maidservant glared coldly at Anle, then glanced at the outhouse.

Since her young mistress had spoken up, how could she not take out some money? Reluctantly, she took out a piece of silver from her purse and tossed it to Anle.

"Here, resolve it immediately."

Having been paid to do the job, Anle didn't care about the maid's bossy attitude. After all, she wasn't concerned about the master's dog's attitude. As long as the master was happy, no matter how much the maid barked, it wouldn't matter.

She was just waiting for the young lady to make her own statement!

After taking the half tael of silver, Anle casually tossed it to Anjing, saying, "Big sister, take this. This is half of the tuition money I earned for Third Brother."

After saying that, he approached the door of the outhouse and said, "Miss, please open the door for me, I'll go in."

Anle crawled inside, looked at Du Ruoyun who was standing helplessly in the outhouse, smiled, and waved down.

"Squat down."

Damn, this little body is really inconvenient; it's small and short.

"Huh?" Du Ruoyun was taken aback.

"If you want to get out of here safely, you just have to listen to me."

Du Ruoyun bit her lip, hesitated for a moment, and then squatted down.

Anle plucked a rose-red butterfly hairpin from Du Ruoyun's hair, glanced at the blue dress she wore under her outer robe, and tapped her chin with her index finger, already having an idea.

"Alright, get up now and take off your blood-stained coat."

Du Ruoyun, looking completely bewildered, took off her outer garment and handed it to Anle.

With the clothes in hand, Anle took one end and handed it to Du Ruoyun, saying, "Help me hold on tight, make sure you don't let go!"

As she spoke, she took the other end of the hairpin and poked it directly at her clothes—

The quiet outside the outhouse left her dumbfounded, clutching the half-tael of silver that Anle had tossed to her, staring blankly at it. So much money!

They actually gave the little sister half a tael of silver?!

This is like a dream.

Anjing stared blankly at the silver, completely bewildered. Not long after, Anle came out, followed by a young lady, the same young lady who had been running around in a hurry and panic earlier.

The clothes he was wearing looked the same color, but the style was completely different.

It was a novel design she had never seen before, yet it looked surprisingly eye-catching.

Anle crossed his arms and made a comment.

"Let me show your maid properly, and see if the money spent is worth it?"

Du Ruoyun looked at her newly dressed, neat and stylish clothes, smiled with satisfaction, and actually twirled around in front of the little maid.

The pale yellow bow at the back of the dress, which covered the entire waist, swayed gracefully with the movement of the waist.

The spring dress was thin and light, which is why such a large bloodstain was so clearly visible. It was also because it was thin and light that the bow tied with it did not look heavy, but instead gave it a sense of elegance.

As the wind blew by, the bow tied behind her waist fluttered like a butterfly, giving it a lively and playful feel that was quite eye-catching.

Even her slender waist was revealed, making her already delicate figure appear even thinner. With Anle's alteration, the curves of her body became more defined and attractive, giving her a more exquisite and shapely figure.

With just a pale yellow bow belt tied around her waist, she instantly brightened up by seven points, exuding both girlish charm and unique coquettishness.

This eye-catching design made the young maid stare at it with wide eyes.

"Beautiful, Miss, you look absolutely stunning! You're like a celestial maiden descended to earth, far more radiant and captivating than your usual attire. It's impossible not to look at you."

"This servant has never seen Miss like this before. This change in attire makes her look like a completely different person; she seems entirely different."

"So, ladies, are you satisfied with this solution?"

Anle smiled, which not only transformed their clothing style and enhanced their personal charm, but more importantly, it resolved their awkward situation.

Du Ruoyun was praised to the skies by her own maid, and her face showed the shyness of a young girl.

"You little rascal, you're really something. With just a hairpin and a few tugs, you've completely transformed this dress. You have such skillful hands."

"I have something even more amazing here, guaranteed to make you the most dazzling presence and the most beautiful sight in the town when you go out."

However, that depends on whether you're willing to spend a little more money.

Anle toyed with the remaining strip of pale yellow cloth in his hand, chuckling slyly and cunningly.

"Miss, let's not listen to her. She's just trying to swindle us out of our money. You look beautiful enough as you are now."

The problem with the back of the clothes has already been solved, so we don't need her anymore.

The maidservant glared angrily at Anle, who had taken this opportunity to swindle half a tael of silver from them.

Anle raised her eyebrows, crossed her arms like a little adult, and glanced at the little maid, acting like a businessman.

"Miss, get this straight. If it weren't for me, would your young lady be able to resolve this embarrassing problem, escape this awkward situation, and become as beautiful as she is now?"

We're doing business here; it's a matter of mutual consent. My hands weren't given away for nothing.

"I didn't swindle the money; I earned it from you honestly and openly."
