"By the way, Xiaoling, why don't you stay here tonight? It's not safe to go back so late."
Jiang Xiaoling wanted to decline, but she was shy and not good at refusing. Seeing that Fu Hange had already turned away, she had no choice but to give up.
Fu Hange walked to the entrance of the bedroom: "I see there are too many oil stains in your dining room. Why don't you take a shower later? I'll get you a change of clothes."

Fu Hange's unquestionable tone made Jiang Xiaoling think that she and Gu Yuan were really similar, both having strong personalities. They always gave people the feeling of being in control of everything.

The half-open door was pushed open, and in the dimly lit room, Bai Xin was indeed lying on the large bed, but Gu Yuan was nowhere to be seen.
"What are you doing?" Gu Yuan's icy voice echoed through the large room.
Before Fu Hange could explain, Gu Yuan had already pulled her out.

"This is none of your business." With that, he picked up his coat and led Fu Hange out the door.
She resisted, wanting to get to the bottom of what had just happened, but Gu Yuan seemed unwilling to give her the chance and forcibly shoved her into the car.
"Drive," he commanded.
After driving for a while, Fu Hange stopped at the traffic light ahead, unable to contain herself any longer: "Gu Yuan, you are shameless. You got someone pregnant and you can act like nothing happened. You are ruthless."
Gu Yuan glanced at her but remained silent, gazing at the scenery outside. Fu Hange turned her head and saw his extremely handsome profile; that familiar contour reflected his ruthless nature.
"Have you seen enough?" Gu Yuan's gaze remained fixed on the scenery outside the window.
Fu Hange numbly turned her head. She knew Gu Yuan must have caught her gaze out of the corner of his eye. Otherwise, given his arrogant demeanor, why would he care about her?
After dropping Gu Yuan off at the bottom of Mingheng Building, he told Gu Yuan to get out of the car, but Gu Yuan showed no intention of getting out and remained sitting upright.
After a few minutes of silence, Gu Yuan, unusually kind, asked her, "You think Bai Xin is pregnant?"
He still dares to say it? He did such a shameless thing and then openly admits it. He's not ashamed at all; she's ashamed for him!
Perhaps because of that incident, her tone became cold and irritable: "Mr. Gu, please stop asking questions you already know the answer to. She's in your bed, what else do you want to explain? I'm not trying to be mean, but sometimes people really should be more discreet and stop flirting around. I truly despise irresponsible people like you."
She launched into a long speech, and I vaguely saw a fleeting smile appear on Gu Yuan's lips, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it meant.
Gu Yuan unbuckled his seatbelt: "See you tonight."
These three words, which are perfectly normal, seem a little strange to Fu Hange.
Fu Hange drove back to the Xu family's office. Inside the upper floors, Jiang Xiaoling sat on the sofa in the reception room. Her office had a combination lock, so she couldn't get in. But no one offered her a glass of water; it seemed the Xu family's employees really needed some work on their conduct.
