As she hesitated whether to leave, the door suddenly opened from the inside.
Gu Yuan stood in front of her, dressed in a casual bathrobe, looking rather languid.
Gu Yuan made way for Fu Hange to enter. Once inside, Fu Hange casually sat on the sofa, watching Gu Yuan walk around the room, first running the water dispenser, then looking for something to eat.
Fu Hange asked impatiently, "President Gu, when can you leave?"
Gu Yuan calmly walked into the bedroom, his voice carrying into the living room: "Come and help me tidy my clothes."
Fu Hange walked in, and clothes were scattered everywhere, all laid out on Gu Yuan's large bed.
It seems Gu Yuan is getting better and better at tormenting people; he's even come up with this trick. But aside from making her tidy up this and clean that, he hasn't tried anything else.
"Help me pick one out." Gu Yuan stood in front of the mirror, waiting for Fu Hange to serve him.
Fu Hange felt extremely disgusted, but she couldn't show it. She casually grabbed a piece of clothing and tossed it to him before turning around and returning to her seat in the living room.
About half an hour later, Gu Yuan stood in front of Fu Hange, fully dressed and ready to go.
Fu Hange saw that Gu Yuan was wearing the same outfit she had just handed him, only she had chosen a rather ugly one. She had thought Gu Yuan wouldn't be able to wear it, but to her surprise, he wore it with extraordinary style and carried it off effortlessly.
He said coldly, "Aren't you going to drive?"
Jiang Xiaoling was very busy at work all morning, and she tried to talk to her several times, but she didn't have time. It wasn't until the lunch break that Jiang Xiaoling was called over and asked to tell her everything about Xu Yi from yesterday.
Fu Hange frowned, propped herself up on the table with one hand, and twirled a ballpoint pen in the other.
After a long while: "Don't pay any attention to him, he's just having a brain fart. As for your brother's matter, he was wrong, he shouldn't have hit him. I'll definitely talk to him for you later."
Jiang Xiaoling nodded, and Fu Hange asked again, "Is your salary not enough? Or is your brother too difficult to please?"
Jiang Xiaoling stood there awkwardly, scratching her hair as she ran to the front.
Just as I was about to change the subject and report on my work, Gu Yuan called.
Fu Hange didn't check the caller ID at first, assuming it was from one of their partner companies, and her tone became unusually gentle: "Hello, how can I help you?"
The other person hesitated for a moment, then returned to normal, and a familiar voice reached Fu Hange's ears: "Come over quickly, I'm waiting for you at Mingheng."
"What did you say? Hello?"
Before she could finish speaking, Gu Yuan had already hung up the phone.
Fu Hange was so angry that she slammed her phone on the table and took a deep breath to calm herself down.
Jiang Xiaoling asked worriedly, "Why don't I go with you?"
Fu Hange shook her head repeatedly: "That's just how Gu Yuan is. Don't worry, he wouldn't dare to do anything to me."
But Jiang Xiaoling's worries were indeed justified. The moment Fu Hange entered Mingheng, everyone stared at her as if she had done something wrong. She hated being looked at like that more than anything else in her life. If this had happened at the Xu family, she would have definitely taught those people a lesson.
Inside Gu Yuan's office, Bai Xin and Gu Yuan stood together. As soon as Fu Hange entered, she felt a sense of oppression.
Gu Yuan looked at her, his eyes filled with an indescribable gloom.
Fu Hange was completely baffled, not understanding why she had been suddenly called over and why she was being looked at like that.
She walked up to Gu Yuan and asked softly, "What's wrong?"
Gu Yuan dragged her to a pile of documents and roared, "Look for yourself!"
She stared blankly at the pile of documents, completely bewildered by the nonsensical collaborations on them.
