She took out her phone and glanced at the pitiful black screen caused by not charging it for several days.
In the end, she gave in to Gu Yuan: "What's wrong with just helping me charge my phone?"
I haven't settled the score with you for cheating on me!
This is utterly unreasonable!
Fu Hange understood. So he had been holding a grudge about her cheating on him. No wonder he was so angry.
Since her explanations were useless anyway, Fu Hange deliberately provoked him: "Yes, I did cheat on you. If you want to settle accounts with me, let's settle it now. What do you mean by locking me up here? Is this marital imprisonment?"
"Shut up!" he roared at her like a lion awakening.
Fu Hange stood frozen in place, awaiting his judgment.
"You need to bring up your dirty secret with him in front of me? I think you want the whole world to know, don't you? You've slapped such a huge accusation on me, and you still expect me to let you go? And let you continue fooling around with that man? Don't even think about it!"
Fu Hange couldn't help but shiver. She had never seen Gu Yuan like this before, like a ferocious beast about to devour people.
He then said menacingly, "I'm going to lock you up here. You can sue me if you want, but I absolutely won't allow you to go and pin anything on me with that man again!"
After saying that, Fu Hange gripped the hem of her clothes tightly with both hands.
He hated her so much, to this extent.
Fu Hange closed her eyes, trying to suppress the sharp pain in her heart.
She said slowly, "Since you hate me so much, why don't you divorce me? It would be better for both of us. Why torture each other?"
"I'm going to keep you by my side and prevent you from spending time with that man. Call me bad or hate me if you want, I don't care."
His bloodthirsty eyes were fixed on her, not missing a single glance from her.
It wasn't that he wasn't heartbroken; his woman was actually thinking about another man, and she was being so obvious about it. How could he possibly swallow this insult?
He really wanted to tear open the woman's heart right now to see what it was made of. He had gone to great lengths to find her and get her back, only to be met with such heartless treatment.
They even kidnapped a woman whose heart already belonged to someone else.
How ironic!
After an unknown amount of time, Fu Hange suddenly spoke up: "What's the point of this? It's just a waste of time."
It only deepens the wounds on both sides.
She was tired; she couldn't get into his heart anymore. No matter how much she tried to please him, no matter how much she wanted to do something for him, that was it.
Or they were wrong from the start.
Sitting next to her, Gu Yuan said coldly, "Even if we have to drag this out, I'll keep you trapped here."
"This is illegal detention!"
"So what? This is called marital infidelity!"
Gu Yuan was just as imposing as her, even bringing up the tactic of marital infidelity? Fu Hange was utterly dumbfounded; how insanely angry was he?
"Think what you want."
After saying that, Fu Hange went upstairs.
Enraged, Gu Yuan smashed all the cups on the table, making a deafening noise. Fu Hange pretended not to hear and kept walking forward with her head down.
She didn't explain anything to him at all, and just brushed him off like that.
He couldn't swallow this insult no matter what.
Gu Yuan chased after her in anger, but Fu Hange had already locked the door.
He stood outside the door and yelled, "You'd better come out and explain yourself!"
"There's nothing to say. You think whatever I say is wrong, and there's nothing I can do about it if that's how you want to think."
