Xu Yi really wanted to dig out this woman's heart to see what it was made of, that she could say such heartless things.
Although this wasn't the first time she had provoked him, Xu Yi still felt an uncontrollable rage.
She tried to escape with him on her back. If Fu Hange hadn't told her, she might already be on the plane!
Xu Yi grew angrier the more he thought about it. He released his grip on Jiang Xiaoling and dragged her off the chair. "Come back with me!"
She instinctively struggled free, shouting, "Let go of me!"
"I won't let you go unless you come back with me!"
He was on the verge of a breakdown; his once gentle gaze was gone, and he exuded a fierce aura, as if he were about to devour her completely.
Jiang Xiaoling was terrified by his appearance. Her palm, which was being held by Xu Yi, was sweating profusely, and she couldn't stop trembling.
"Now you're scared? If you're scared, come back with me!"
After saying that, Xu Yi tore up the plane ticket in her hand and left with her without even caring about her luggage.
He threw Jiang Xiaoling into the car, then the car started and sped off to an unknown destination.
He locked all the car doors, so there was no way she could jump out and escape.
As they drew closer to Xu Yi's destination, Jiang Xiaoling's heart began to pound with anxiety, fearing that something like what happened last time would happen again.
Finally, the car stopped at Xu Yi's sea-view room. Jiang Xiaoling was dragged out of the car by him, and her wrists were sore from being pulled.
She growled, "What exactly do you want?"
"You'll see in a moment," Xu Yi said as he pulled her inside.
As soon as she entered, Xu Yi locked her in his bedroom, and then he began rummaging through drawers and cabinets looking for things.
Jiang Xiaoling asked timidly, "What are you looking for?"
Xu Yi did not answer her.
Finally, they took something that looked like a notebook from a cabinet.
Jiang Xiaoling frowned and asked, "What is this?"
Xu Yi held up the household registration booklet in front of her, his face cold, and said, "Do you dare to marry me?"
Jiang Xiaoling was completely terrified. What was he saying? Marriage?
He actually wants her to marry him?
Seeing Jiang Xiaoling's terrified expression, Xu Yi took another step closer to her, "Let's get married now, are you willing? From now on, no one will look down on you, you will be my wife, everyone will admire you, and you will never have to suffer other people's disdain again."
Jiang Xiaoling felt like she was dreaming. He was actually going to marry her?
Xu Yi pressed on, "So? Do you dare come with me now?"
His gaze was firm, his tone unwavering, and his eyes were fixed on Jiang Xiaoling, as if afraid of missing any of her expressions.
But all he ever saw on Jiang Xiaoling's face was hesitation and helplessness.
The fire in his heart still seemed to be rising. He grabbed Jiang Xiaoling's arm and asked, "What exactly do you want? Say something!"
Jiang Xiaoling's broken tears seemed to be shaken out by him.
She choked back tears as she asked, "I want to go home, can you let me?"
Her aggrieved voice sounded like a doll's, soft and vulnerable.
Xu Yi felt even angrier after hearing this. He had already abandoned his self-respect to this extent, yet she was still so heartless.
"Is this your decision?" Xu Yi asked coldly.
Jiang Xiaoling didn't speak, and Xu Yi felt even angrier. Why was she always so indifferent? Did she think that everything he said was a joke?
Xu Yi became even angrier for no reason. He dragged Jiang Xiaoling onto the bed and then pressed his whole body against her.
