Chapter 466 The Bai Family... ...The End

As he spoke, Bai Di turned and walked towards the Bai family's ancestral land. With each step he took, blood-red ripples would appear on the ground in an eerie way.

Bai Yanfeng's tall figure cast a long shadow under the moonlight, but the shadow was distorted and deformed, and the outline of a girl could be vaguely seen baring her teeth and claws.

With a flick of his finger, Bai Di summoned two streams of black mist that swept up Zhou Ying and Bai Ying, directly storing them in his storage bag.

"Mother, don't look at me like that." She chuckled softly, her voice carrying a chilling intimacy. "Aren't you the one who loves me the most? Why are you looking at me like that now?"

Inside the storage bag, Zhou Ying slumped in the darkness, her eyes vacant, her lips trembling as she muttered to herself, "How could this happen... how could this be..."

How could her little flute, the daughter who always sweetly called her "Mother," have turned into such a cold-blooded and ruthless monster?

She killed her beloved son and drained her husband of his spiritual power, transforming herself into someone she didn't recognize...

Zhou Ying covered her face and wept bitterly. The thought that Bai Yanfeng's soul was now completely gone caused her a heart-wrenching pain!

Meanwhile, the white eagle, its spiritual energy completely depleted, still struggled and roared, "What exactly do you want to do?"

Bai Di's voice came from outside the storage bag, tinged with impatience: "Father, why don't you understand? Your meager cultivation was drained before I could barely break through to the late Golden Core stage. How could that be enough?"

The Bai family has so many people, so many elders... they are all top-quality 'tonics'!

Bai Ying could hardly believe it. She had drained his spiritual power and now she wanted to drain the spiritual power of all the Bai family members.

"You beast! Our Bai family has raised you for so many years, how could you do such a heartless thing!"

Bai Di's lips curled into a chilling smile: "Father, please don't blame me. Blame Bai Ying! It's all her fault. It's all because of her that I've become like this. I swear I won't be a man if I don't kill her right now!"

Zhou Ying collapsed to the ground, tears streaming down her face.

Wasn't she once just as crazy as Bai Di?

When her spiritual root was destroyed, didn't she pour all her resentment onto the innocent child, Bai Ying?

But she knew the truth better than anyone else.

Bai Ying never provoked anyone; it was all just that she and Bai Di had schemed and plotted, but ended up losing more than they gained.

Looking at Bai Di's distorted face, Zhou Ying felt a chill run from her feet to the top of her head.

She suddenly grabbed her hair, her nails digging deep into her scalp: "What have I done... what have I done?!"

The Bai family, night.

Bai Di, or rather, Bai Di who was disguised as Bai Yanfeng, stepped into the Bai family's gate.

"Young Master Yanfeng is back!" The two gatekeepers hurriedly bowed, the moonlight shimmering on the jade pendants at their waists.

Bai Di's eyebrows curved into a gentle arc as she raised her hand and lightly patted the shoulder of the leading disciple: "The wind is strong tonight, be careful not to catch a cold." The moment their fingertips touched, a wisp of black energy with dark gold patterns burrowed into the back of the other's neck like a venomous snake.

"Uh..." The disciple convulsed suddenly, his pupils swirling with an eerie vortex. But in the blink of an eye, he returned to normal, though a faint, almost imperceptible daze lingered in his eyes.

"Go and invite the clan chief and the seven elders to the council hall," Bai Di's voice was as sweet as honey, "tell them I have important matters to discuss."

The disciple mechanically replied "Yes," and as he turned around, his steps were unsteady, disappearing into the end of the corridor like a puppet on a string.

Bai Di watched his retreating figure, a hint of crimson flashing in her eyes.

A gust of cold wind blew by, and the copper bells on the eaves suddenly shook wildly, emitting a long, mournful sound.

Bai Family Council Hall.

The seven elders gathered together, with the current clan leader seated in the main seat.

"Yanfeng, what urgent matter is it so late?" the clan leader asked, frowning.

Bai Di bowed respectfully, his face showing just the right amount of anxiety: "Clan Chief, something has happened to my parents!"

These words caused an uproar in the hall, and everyone stood up, their faces filled with shock and concern.

"We were ambushed on our way back," Bai Di choked back tears, his eyes glistening with emotion. "My parents are seriously injured, and they're... they're in my storage bag right now!"

The clan chief jumped to his feet, his voice urgent: "How could this be? Quickly release them so I can see them."

Bai Di lowered her head, a triumphant smile subtly playing at the corners of her lips, and softly replied, "Yes..." Then, she slowly opened the storage bag.

In an instant, with a loud "boom", the towering black mist erupted like a surging tide.

The defensive array inside the council hall lit up with a blinding light the moment the black mist touched it, but was completely corroded in the blink of an eye, emitting a "sizzling" sound, and turned into specks of light that dissipated into the air.

"You...you're not Yanfeng!"

The clan chief's eyes were wide open, bloodshot, filled with a mixture of anger and terror. However, he was horrified to discover that his entire body seemed to be bound by an invisible force, and he could not move at all.

Bai Di tilted her head, revealing a sweet yet eerie smile:

"The clan leader has a good eye."

She moved forward with light steps, as if watching her prey's dying struggle.

She walked up to the clan leader, gently touching his dantian with her finger, her tone full of mockery and cruelty: "But now that you know... it's too late."

Meanwhile, inside the storage bag, Zhou Ying curled up, listening to the intermittent screams coming from outside, her whole body trembling uncontrollably.

Her lips moved slightly as she murmured, "No...don't..." Her voice was filled with fear and despair.

White Eagle collapsed to the ground, tears streaming from his eyes, his face contorted with pain and despair. He stared upwards, his voice hoarse and weak:

"It's over... the Bai family... it's over..."
