After a period of intense activity, evidence collection at the scene was finally nearing completion. Police and special units methodically carried out the final work, focusing on every possible clue and meticulously pursuing them.
Mo Xi looked at Mu Li, whose face was solemn, and his heart was filled with pity. He took Mu Li and slowly left this place filled with oppressive atmosphere. Along the way, Mu Li was silent as if she had lost her soul. Her eyes were empty, as if her mind was still immersed in that terrible scene.
"Ali, don't think too much. Let's go eat something delicious and relax." Mo Xi said softly, his voice full of concern.
Mu Li raised her head and tried hard to force a smile, but it seemed so forced: "Okay."
The two of them arrived at a bustling restaurant, the place buzzing with people and filled with the hustle and bustle of life. They ordered a table full of delicious food, which was laid out before them.
"Eat more and forget all your worries." Mo Xi said as he kept picking up food for Mu Li, his eyes full of pampering.
Mu Li looked at the mountain of food in the bowl, and a warm feeling welled up in her heart: "Thank you, Prince."
After dinner, Mo Xi held Mu Li's hand and strolled down the street. The soft light cast a long shadow on them.
"Ali, no matter what difficulties you encounter in the future, I will always be by your side." Mo Xi suddenly stopped and said seriously, his eyes firm and affectionate.
Mu Li was moved and held Mo Xi's hand tightly, her eyes slightly red: "Me too, Prince brother."
After returning home, Mu Li was still a little worried. She sat in front of the window, staring at the moonlight outside in a daze.
Mo Xi looked at Mu Li's appearance and felt distressed. He walked gently to Mu Li and said, "Ali, take a good sleep. Maybe when you wake up tomorrow, everything will be fine."
Mu Li nodded and lay down on the bed obediently, but she tossed and turned, and those terrifying scenes kept appearing in her mind, and she couldn't fall asleep.
Mo Xi was quietly watching over her. Time passed minute by minute until late at night, when Mu Li finally fell into a deep sleep from exhaustion.
The next morning, warm sunlight poured into the room through the gaps in the curtains. Mu Li slowly opened her eyes. After a night's rest, she seemed to be in a better mood.
"Brother Prince, what should we do next?" Mu Li rubbed her eyes and asked.
Mo Xi frowned and thought for a moment, then said, "Let's see how the police investigation progresses first, and then we'll make plans."
Soon, news came from the police that through an in-depth investigation of the scene, they found some key clues related to a mysterious organization.
"This mysterious organization has been hiding in the dark, engaging in all sorts of insane and evil activities." Mo Xi said with a frown, his eyes full of anger and vigilance.
Mu Li clenched her fists and gritted her teeth as she said, "We must find them and make sure they receive the punishment they deserve!"
The two decided to follow these clues and continued their investigation. They traveled all the way to a remote town. It seemed peaceful and tranquil, but there was a strange atmosphere that made people feel inexplicably uneasy.
"Be careful, Ali." Mo Xi reminded softly, looking around vigilantly.
Mu Li nodded, and the two of them carefully explored the town, taking every step with extreme caution.
Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed past them from behind like a ghost.
"Who?" Mu Li turned around alertly, her eyes full of panic.
Mo Xi reacted quickly and chased after him without hesitation. Mu Li followed closely behind, not daring to slack off in the slightest.
The shadow led them to an abandoned temple and then disappeared like smoke.
The temple gate was tightly closed, and an eerie and terrifying atmosphere permeated the air, as if telling an unknown secret.
"Brother Prince, this place doesn't feel right." Mu Li's voice trembled, and her body involuntarily moved closer to Mo Xi.
Mo Xi comforted her, "Don't be afraid, I'm here." His voice was firm and powerful, giving Mu Li a little courage.
The two took a deep breath, pushed open the heavy door, and walked into the temple. It was dark and damp inside, filled with a foul smell that made people want to vomit.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew, bringing with it a creepy chill, and at the same time a strange laugh was heard.
"Hahahaha..." The laughter echoed in the empty temple, making people feel creepy.
Mu Li couldn't help but shudder and clutched the corner of Mo Xi's clothes tightly.
At this moment, a group of strange monsters rushed out from the darkness and pounced on them with bared fangs and claws.
Mo Xi protected Mu Li behind him, staring fiercely at the monsters that were charging at him, and shouted, "A Li, be careful!"
In a flash, Mo Xi drew the sword from his waist. The blade flashed a cold light in the dim temple, and he slashed at the monster rushing in front. The monster screamed and fell to the ground, turning into a cloud of black smoke.
Mu Li was not to be outdone. She took out a dagger from her bosom, dodged the monster's attacks nimbly, and found the right moment to stab the monster's vital points.
However, the number of monsters kept increasing, seemingly endless. Mo Xi and Mu Li gradually felt exhausted, their clothes soaked with sweat.
"This is not a solution, Ali, we must find the weaknesses of these monsters!" Mo Xi said loudly while struggling to resist.
Mu Li bit her lip and looked around. Suddenly, she found that an ancient mural on the wall of the temple seemed to hide some secret.
