Chapter 52 Sweet Dreams

Where to rent a car, everyone who wants to rent a car must read some car rental regulations and warnings, which are emphasized many times above:

[Please do not leave the road or scenic area without permission when traveling by car.]

There are many undeveloped and dangerous areas outside the hotel, and some restricted areas are not open to the public. Guests who wish to travel independently must stay on the roads and do not drive off the roads!

Zhang Tai didn't take it seriously, thinking that the store owner was just making it sound more serious because he was afraid that customers would run away.

He rented an electric bike and planned to find some locals to ask about the magma berries and ghost flowers. However, the area around the hotel was full of NPCs dressed as demons, and Zhang Tai didn't have the courage to poach people under their noses.

So he looked around and noticed a black castle in the distance. He thought there should be "locals" there, so he decided to go there to find out some information.

There was no road leading to the black castle near the hotel, but Zhang Tai didn't think it was a big problem. Being able to see the castle meant it was not far away, and there was definitely no uninhabited area in between.

Just like that, Zhang Tai ignored the warning signs on the side of the road and turned the front of the car without hesitation. The electric car slowly drove off the flat road, the wheels rolling over weeds and gravel, and drove straight into the endless wilderness.

The wilderness was desolate and silent, with only the howling wind passing by my ears.

The sun scorched the earth mercilessly, casting Zhang Tai's figure on the ground behind him, forming a long black shadow.

Zhang Tai didn't notice that the surroundings were strangely quiet. He stared at the black castle in the distance, his mind full of images of him making a lot of money by selling jam, so he rushed forward with all his strength.

However, as time went on, a strange feeling gradually came over me.

Even though he had increased the speed of the electric scooter to the maximum and the car was speeding forward, the scene before him seemed to have not changed at all - the black castle was still out of reach, and the distance between them had not shortened at all.

It seemed as if the road ahead of him was getting infinitely longer, and Zhang Tai began to wonder if he was having an illusion.

But Zhang Tai did not look back. He guessed that the Gobi Desert was too wide, so the road was longer than it looked, so he continued to drive towards his goal.
