Soon, one hour passed, two hours passed...
Zhang Tai's initial confidence disappeared. This journey was far from as smooth as he had imagined. No matter how far he walked, the black castle always seemed out of reach, and the road seemed to extend infinitely under his feet.
He began to hesitate, unsure whether he should go on.
Now he was tired and hot, and the sun was particularly strong in the wilderness. He had already finished half of the three bottles of water he brought with him. Zhang Tai blamed himself in his heart when he rented the car. He should have rented a car with an awning!
Once resentment starts, it can't be stopped.
Zhang Tai began to complain about this and that.
I blamed myself for running into the wilderness like a fool; I blamed the Moon Hotel for being so backward that it didn't even have a flying boat; I blamed the "locals" for being so stupid that they didn't even know how to set up a fruit stall near the hotel and missed such a good opportunity; I blamed why there was such a vast wilderness.
But he forgot that it was he who ignored the warning and ran into the wilderness; it was also he who gave up the flying broom and car that required learning to drive in order to save time, and chose the electric car that he could use right away; it was also he who did not understand the situation clearly and rushed into the wilderness alone for the sake of profit.
Negative emotions reached their peak after Zhang Tai discovered that his communicator had lost signal.
"No way! This star network doesn't cover the entire planet?!"
Zhang Tai held the communicator and walked around in the wilderness trying to restore the signal, but the signal column was still blank and he couldn't even contact the hotel for help.
"Damn it! Why am I so unlucky!"
Zhang Tai began to collapse. He wanted to go back to the hotel, but found that he was lost. Everything around him was wild and he couldn't find the hotel at all.
"Oh my god, what now?"
He was completely panicked and completely forgot that the bracelet issued by the hotel had a help function.
He rode his electric scooter around, trying to find a high place to look out, but unfortunately he found nothing.
The wilderness seemed to be toying with him, deliberately making him feel hopeless.
Just when Zhang Tai was about to give up, a small wooden house suddenly appeared in his sight, standing alone in the wilderness.
"Great, it looks like this isn't a no-man's land after all."
Zhang Tai said to himself that he thought this was a resting place sent by God. He had no doubts at all and couldn't wait to walk into the wooden house.
Pushing open the door, Zhang Tai found that although the wooden house was simple, it was extremely warm.
There is a wooden bed in the house, covered with a thick blanket, which looks soft and comfortable.
"This bed looks comfortable. I should get some rest."
Zhang Tai didn't know why, but he felt extremely tired and should lie down on the bed and rest immediately.
However, when he closed his eyes, he immediately fell into a deep sleep and could not wake up. But his sleep was not peaceful. Instead, he frowned tightly and looked very painful.
. . .
Zhang Tai suddenly found the ghost flowers he had been longing for. They were emitting a faint fragrance in the distance, and the fragrance seemed to be waving at him. He immediately rushed towards the ghost flowers with joy.
But when he reached out to pick them, the ghost flowers disappeared, replaced by mocking faces that seemed to be mocking his stupidity and arrogance.
The faces spoke.
"Zhang Tai, don't touch this ingredient with your dirty hands!"
"You, a lowly person from a desolate planet, will contaminate the food, don't you know?"
"Oh my God, I really don't understand why the school would accept such a person."
"Really, I can't stand the thought of being in the same space with him."
"There really are no rules. If you don't know, don't touch it."
Faced with everyone's accusations, Zhang Tai turned pale and retracted his hands into his sleeves.
The scene changed, and a very angry man appeared in front of Zhang Tai. He pointed at something on the pot and yelled at Zhang Tai.
"Why are you touching my food!"
Zhang Tai was a little overwhelmed: "I saw that the sauce was about to burn, so I helped you stir it."
"Help me? No! You ruined my entire dish. After being touched by someone like you, this dish can't be used anymore, you know?! I can only throw the whole dish away and start over!!!"
The man angrily turned around and poured the entire dish, along with the sauce in the pot, into the trash can.
Zhang Tai originally wanted to say that even if he had touched the sauce, he couldn't have it, but since the sauce hadn't touched the food on the plate, there was no need to throw it all away.
But his voice disappeared as the man threw the plate into the trash can.
Zhang Tai closed his eyes and took a long breath.
When he opened his eyes again, he saw his teacher.
"Zhang Tai, are you really not planning to stay? I've already asked my friend's restaurant if they're hiring. Why don't you wait for a reply?"
Seeing the teacher's worried expression, Zhang Tai forced a smile: "I have made up my mind. Thank you for your guidance."
This teacher was the one who brought him out of the Desolate Planet, but the teacher could only bring him out, but could not change the fact that other people excluded the residents of the Desolate Planet.
The outside world has taught Zhang Tai his first lesson: dreams cannot fill his stomach, and in reality, dreams will even become a burden to him.
Seeing that Zhang Tai had made up his mind, the teacher patted him on the shoulder.
"You should try harder and persevere a little longer."
Zhang Tai's smile froze, this was different from what he remembered.
How could the teacher say such a thing?
The teacher would not say such things to himself.
Wait, something seems wrong here.
Where is this?
