Chapter 325 I've been waiting for you to say that

Chapter 325 I've been waiting for you to say that

Qin Ce glanced up at her, then suddenly stood up and said, "You go to sleep first, I'm going out to make a phone call."

Qiao Xing watched him walk out the door, and only sighed after he closed it.

She slowly moved her body and lay down.

It was Qin Liang calling again, and he kept asking where Qin Yi was.

Qin Ce got annoyed by his questions, hung up the phone, and then blocked Qin Liang's number.

Qin Liang, who couldn't get through on the other end, instantly exploded. He slammed his fist on the table and stood up abruptly, yelling, "That bastard!"

"Grandpa, calm down, don't get sick from getting angry." The woman walked over and stroked his chest to help him catch his breath. "Call during the day if you want, it's so late, they're probably asleep."

"What time is it? This is outrageous! They actually blocked me." Qin Liang was so angry that he laughed at himself.

The woman thought for a moment and said, "Xiao Yi hasn't seen his older brother for a long time, so it's only natural that he wants to spend a few more days with his brother and grandfather. After so many years apart, they must have a lot to talk about."

There's nothing wrong with what he said at first glance, but if you think about it carefully, Qin Yi has been gone for so long, he's probably said everything he wanted to say.

In addition, given that the old man had always disliked Qin Liang, Qin Liang naturally wondered what the three of them were plotting together.

Thinking of this, Qin Liang suddenly called out, "Old Zheng!"

A middle-aged man approached and said, "Sir."

"Go, send a few men to Chongqing tomorrow and bring the old man and that unfilial son back to me."

"yes."

Yang Xu rushed to the hospital and handed Qin Ce a document, saying, "This is the agreement you asked me to draft. Please check if there are any problems."

Qin Ce opened the folder, took out the share transfer agreement, and glanced through it.

"Come with me to Shengli Residential Area."

Yang Xu nodded.

Qin Ce pushed open the door to the ward and saw Qiao Xing playing on her phone in bed, then closed the door again.

As he and Yang Xu left the hospital and exited the inpatient department, he made a phone call to Xing Jiu.

"Find a few people to keep an eye on things at the hospital."

"good."

Qin Ce hung up the phone and strode towards the parking lot.

The two drove back to Shengli Community. When they passed the low house, Qin Ce saw that the police tape had not been removed yet, but the exterior of the house had been burned black, and it was impossible to see what was inside.

The car turned a corner, and Yang Xu, driving, said to him, "Lin Qiang's parents came to claim the body today."

Qin Ce pinched his temples, propped his elbows against the car window, and didn't say anything, as if he were asleep.

Yang Xu said to himself, "That old couple is really something, they're so old, and they still have to come and collect their son's body."

Lin Qiang's parents are in their seventies and only had one son. After Lin Qiang died, the elderly couple will truly be left all alone.

When his mother saw Lin Qiang's body, she fainted on the spot, and her current condition is unknown.

The old man went to the funeral home to collect the body himself and took his son to be cremated himself.

I wonder if Lin Qiang thought of them before he died.

Yang Xu drove the car into the residential area. "Brother Qin, we've arrived."

"Brother Qin?"

Qin Ce opened his eyes, frowned, and glanced outside. "Have we arrived?"

"We're here. How long has it been since you slept? You fell asleep even on such a short walk."

Yang Xu had thought he was thinking about something, but now he realized he was asleep.

Qin Ce glanced at his watch; it was only a little past nine. He grabbed the documents and got out of the car.

Yang Xu quickly followed behind, and the two arrived at the old man's house. Qin Ce knocked on the door.

About two minutes later, the door opened, and surprisingly, it wasn't the master who opened the door, but Qin Yi.

"Brother, why are you back when you weren't at the hospital?"

"Get things done." Qin Ce walked past him and went straight into the house.

The old man was indeed still awake, watching traditional opera on the sofa.

Qin Ce sat down next to him and put the documents in his hand on the table. "Grandpa, these are the things you asked me to do."

The old man opened his eyes, glanced at Qin Ce, and then at the documents on the table.

He picked up the documents on the table, flipped through them, and then looked at Qin Ce again. "So fast?"

"Didn't you tell me to hurry?"

The old man chuckled and held out his hand. "Give me the pen."

Yang Xu took a pen out of his briefcase and handed it to the old man.

"Bring the seal from the second cabinet by my bedside."

Qin Ce got up and took out his seal.

Qin Yi, watching from the sidelines, was completely bewildered. Sensing that they were doing something big, he curiously came over.

What are you doing?

Nobody paid him any attention.

Qin Yi twitched the corner of his mouth and stopped talking, watching them operate.

After the old man signed and stamped the contract, he gave both copies to Qin Ce.

"Xiao Ce, this time, this old man is not going to care about anything anymore."

Qin Ce picked up the document, quickly signed his name, capped his pen, and then said, "Leave the rest to me."

Hearing this, the old man chuckled and said, "I've been waiting for you to say that."

"Xiao Ce, you better not let our family's things fall into the hands of others, or I won't let you off the hook."

Qin Ce paused for a moment, then handed the document to Yang Xu.

"He estimates that someone will be sent to pick you up soon."

"I know," the old man said calmly. "I have nothing to worry about now."

Qin Yi interrupted again, "What exactly are you talking about?"

The old man glared at him with exasperation, "How dare you say that! If you had any self-respect, you wouldn't be standing here. None of you are any of the easy ones!"

Qin Yi was inexplicably scolded. He touched his nose and decided it was best not to say anything.

Qin Ce stood up and said, "You should get some rest. I'm going back to the hospital now."

"Go."

The old man packed all the materials he had prepared earlier into a file bag and handed it to Qin Ce.

Qin Ce didn't linger. He took the documents from Yang Xu's hand and handed them over to him. The two then left the residential area.

Yang Xu flipped through the documents in the car. All the necessary files were there. He couldn't help but joke, "Master Qin is in Chongqing, and you've still managed to prepare all these things."

"You own one percent of the shares in the Qin Group, so you are considered a shareholder. There's no need for a shareholders' meeting; you can just go and complete the formalities. When should we go?"

"Go tomorrow."

Yang Xu smirked. "Dude, it's the weekend tomorrow."

"Go on Monday."

"Okay." Yang Xu packed the things and put them into his briefcase.

Yang Xu drove the car back to the hospital. Before Qin Ce got out of the car, he told him, "Take care of yourself and go to bed early."

Qin Ce pretended not to hear, closed the car door, and walked towards the inpatient department.

Xing Jiu brought two people to guard outside the ward. When he saw Qin Ce coming, he quickly went forward.

"Qin..." Qin Ce raised his hand to interrupt him, gesturing that he could leave.

Xing Jiu swallowed the rest of her words, nodded in agreement, and led the group away.

Qin Ce pushed open the ward door. Qiao Xing was asleep, her phone still on her person, playing a video on repeat.

He walked over, picked up the phone, and turned it off for her.

The sound disappeared, and Qiao Xing groggily opened her eyes. Seeing the figure standing in front of her, she was still half asleep and instinctively got up to make room for him.

Then--

I twisted my neck and injured it.

"Hiss!!"
