Chapter 326 Appearing and disappearing mysteriously every day
Qin Ce put down his phone and quickly helped her lie back down. "Don't move."
Qiao Xing closed his eyes and took several deep breaths before he could recover.
She opened her eyes and looked at Qin Ce, her eyes still glistening with tears. "I was half asleep. I thought I was at home."
It's all because of this room; it's so luxuriously decorated, even bigger than the bedroom they sleep in.
Qin Ce sighed helplessly, pulled up a chair and sat down next to her. He looked at her neck and saw no signs of bleeding.
Does it hurt a lot?
"Thankfully, it doesn't hurt as much now."
She spoke very softly, barely daring to strain her throat, so the words she uttered sounded very weak.
Qin Ce still called the doctor to examine her.
After a thorough examination, the doctor said, "It's nothing serious. Just rest and avoid getting it wet."
Qin Ce nodded, then glanced at Qiao Xing, still a little worried: "She seemed to be in a lot of pain just now."
The doctor said, "It's bound to hurt if you pull on the wound. Be careful and don't move around too much unless it's something wrong."
Qiao Xing felt a little embarrassed. She nodded and said, "I'm sorry to trouble you so late."
The doctor waved his hand, indicating that he should rest, and then left with his entourage.

Before she could finish speaking, she received a stern, cold look from Qin Ce, and she swallowed the rest of her words awkwardly.
"Why doesn't they put more beds in such a big room?" she muttered to herself.
Qin Ce grabbed the blanket and covered her up, saying, "Go to sleep first, we'll have them add an extra bed tomorrow."
After he finished speaking, he went to the sofa, took out the laptop he had brought from the old man's house, and started working.
VIPs are really different; they can add an extra bed whenever they want.
Qiao Xing stared at him with wide eyes, not blinking. He wasn't sleeping, and neither was she.
After two hours of busy work, Qin Ce seemed to notice something and looked up to meet Qiao Xing's staring gaze.
He moved the corners of his mouth, but didn't say anything.
But he quietly turned off the phone, put the laptop on the table, and grabbed a blanket to cover his legs.
"Are you having trouble sleeping? I've turned off the light."
After saying that, Qin Ce turned off the light.
Now Qiao Xing can't see anything, but without the lights, he probably can't do anything.
So Qiao Xing closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
When Qin Ce woke up the next day, he was not in the room; Bai Yi was standing next to him.
Bai Yi was whispering something to Wang Ye.
Qiao Xing was awakened by their noise. Having learned her lesson from last night, she didn't move around. She raised her hand to rub her eyes before opening them.
Bai Yi was saying, "Linlin starts school on Monday, you take him to school."
Wang Ye whispered, "Why don't you go by yourself?"
"I need to go to work."
"You're making it sound like I don't have a job! I haven't even asked you to pay me back yet!" Wang Ye said, a little annoyed. He didn't know what went wrong; he was just trying to collect a debt, and now he'd ended up getting married.
And no matter how you look at it, he's the one who's at a disadvantage.
Bai Yi said, "Go ask your aunt for it. If you get it, please return it to me while you're at it. Thank you!"

"I don't know. He called me this morning and asked me to come, but he wasn't here when I arrived. He was probably busy."
Wang Ye said from the side, "Isn't today a holiday? What could he be busy with? This man is always disappearing without a trace."
Wang Ye was somewhat dissatisfied with Qin Ce's decision to abandon Qiao Xing and run away on his own.

She didn't know how to respond, so she could only silently drink her porridge.
Wang Ye couldn't get a word in edgewise when it came to women's topics. He sat there for a while, got bored, and left.
Only after he left did Qiao Xing dare to gossip about the two of them.
"Team Leader Bai, how are things between you and your cousin?"
"That's fine, he doesn't live with me," Bai Yi said nonchalantly. "He still lives in that rented room by himself."

He simply doesn't want to live with her. He still feels that their marriage is fake and that living together is inappropriate.
Even though they didn't live together, Bai Yi would still do whatever he was asked to do, even if he was unwilling.
"You two might not know each other very well yet, but it will get better once you get to know each other better. My cousin is a really nice guy."
Qiao Xing knew that the two were in a fake marriage, but Qin Ce's tone seemed a little off.
Qiao Xing would rather Bai Yi be her cousin's sister-in-law than for Wang Ye to marry another woman.
She was beautiful and intelligent, and the two were already acquainted.
Bai Yi smiled and said, "I know, he's just stubborn but soft-hearted."
"I hope he doesn't treat other women like this."
Qiao Xing couldn't guarantee that Wang Ye was kind-hearted despite his sharp tongue, but Qiao Xing had never seen him interact with other women, so he didn't know if he treated other women the same way.
