Chapter 46 I Want to Live a Good Life with Her
Qiao Xing was stunned; she had never actually been to a bar before.
"Let's go together." Lily took her arm and invited her warmly, "Let me tell you, bars are so much fun, you know 857?"
Qiao Xing shook her head repeatedly. She caught a glimpse of Qin Ce coming out of the house out of the corner of her eye and quickly said, "I'm not going. You go by yourself."
Lily rolled her eyes, glanced at Qin Ce, and gave him a knowing smile. "You're afraid of your husband, aren't you?"
Qiao Xing chuckled twice.
Lily punched her arm. "What are you afraid of, your husband? A woman should live her own wonderful life."
Qiao Xing found this hard to believe. Lily and her cousin were about to get married, and her cousin was in detention. How could she still be in the mood to go to a bar?
"Sister-in-law, does my cousin also like going to bars?"
"Him?" Lily pursed her lips. With his meager salary, he wouldn't even cover the minimum spending requirement at a bar, but she didn't tell Qiao Xing this.
Lily smiled and said, "He usually goes to chain karaoke bars. That's his hobby, and we don't interfere with each other."

She wanted to take leave to complete the property transfer, but Wu Yun refused to approve it. Even after Wang Ye was released, the property transfer was still not completed.
Three nights prior, Qin Ce told Qiao Xing that he had something to do and would be away for a few days. Since then, Qin Ce had not returned. What frustrated Qiao Xing the most was that Qin Ce hadn't even sent her a message after leaving. Perhaps, he truly had no feelings for her at all...
The day Wang Ye was released was a weekend, and Qiao Xing went to pick him up with her uncle.

"Where's Lily?" Wang Ye looked around but didn't see his girlfriend.

Wang Ye was furious and had a huge fight with Lily. Lily apologized to him, saying she would never go to bars again and would return to Chongqing to marry him.
