"It's my fault, it's all my fault." Qianfo knelt on the ground, bowing his head in embarrassment, covering his face with his hands, feeling guilty and flustered. "I shouldn't have stayed here..."
Qianfo's incoherent speech was completely unlike his usual aloof and unapproachable demeanor. It seemed perfectly reasonable, but Su Li had a vague feeling that something was amiss.

As she said this, Su Li felt something was wrong behind her. By the time she realized what was happening, her hands were already tied behind her back. She didn't know when, but Qian Fo had gotten up from behind and grabbed her hands.

"We can't let you out for now; she might be looking for you," Qianfo said confidently, seemingly concerned for Suli.
“It’s none of your business,” Su Li said dismissively, and began to struggle.
Qianfo raised his arm and with a muffled thud, slammed it into Suli's back. Suli felt her knees buckle and fell backward, only to be caught by a pair of hands and placed back on the bed.
"Reflect on your actions..." Just before closing her eyes, Su Li saw Su Mei slam the door and leave.
