Chapter 284 The puppy cooperates with Wan'er

"Little dog, I'll have to trouble you now," Wan'er said softly, nodding her lips.

She said this tentatively.

Unexpectedly, the puppy seemed to understand; it suddenly blinked its eyes and moved its little head.

"You, you nodded at me?" Wan'er was a little surprised by the little black dog's reaction. She raised her hand to rub her eyes, and seeing the little black dog's firm eyes, she became even more energetic.

She sat up straight, her body upright. Concentrating her mind and gathering her energy, she slowly raised her hands, activating her spiritual power. A faint red light appeared, and a delicate fragrance emanated from beside Wan'er. Two plum blossom petals drifted out from under her armpits…

A glowing red petal landed on her fingertip and began to spin. With Wan'er's cry of "Go!", the petal shot out like an arrow, instantly covering the puppy's eyes. It then spun again, scattering tiny points of light, and in less than six seconds, it vanished from the puppy's eyes, disappearing completely...

The puppy's previously blurry eyes suddenly became exceptionally clear, and then, two red petals faintly appeared in the depths of its eyes...

As Wan'er met the puppy's eyes, a wave of light spread before her eyes. With this light, Wan'er's consciousness, following the petals beneath the puppy's eyes, entered its memories...

"Wan'er, why do you like it so much? This dog..." The camera is very clear, completely from the dog's perspective. The first thing you see is a pair of feet wearing high heels.

Wan'er? Could it be that the dog's owner is Wan'er? That woman who impersonated her! Wan'er's heart suddenly tightened.

"Darling, you're so beautiful, and there were so many pets over there, why did you keep such an ugly dog?" The voice sounded like Liu Chang'an's. Turning around, I saw a pair of feet wearing black leather shoes, on the right side of the high heels.

"So what if she's ugly? Anyway, her name is Meimei." The woman's tone seemed somewhat unconvinced.

"Meimei? Isn't that your friend's name? Why are you calling your dog by her name now?" Liu Chang'an seemed a little puzzled.

"Hmph! That bitch was just like a dog, so now I'll take care of her," the woman said, her eyes flashing with a sharp, piercing light as she stared at the puppy.

"Alright, Wan'er, don't be angry. After all, she's not here. You don't need to get upset over a bitch like her." Liu Chang'an comforted the fake woman named Wan'er.

“Indeed, there’s no need, hmph!” The woman snorted coldly, raised her hand, and seemed to be holding something in her hand, “slap slap slap!” and hit the puppy.

"Waaah!" the puppy cried pitifully. The camera was shaking, showing that the puppy was still able to dodge.

The sounds made during the beating seemed muffled, as if trapped inside something.

"Alright, alright, let's not be angry anymore," Liu Chang'an seemed to sigh, but he didn't plead for the puppy.

The camera zooms in, showing the two climbing the stairs, seeing Liu Chang'an reach for his key, open the door, and go inside.

"I'm exhausted," the woman said, kicking off her high heels and slipping on the slippers Liu Chang'an handed her as she plopped down on the living room sofa after arriving home.

"Honey, you get some rest, I'll go prepare something for you to eat."

"Okay! Thank you, husband," Wan'er said in a sweet voice, which was accompanied by a loud "smack!" that startled her. Liu Chang'an, however, happily skipped away.
